If United sign van Persie then they will go top. If not, I reckon they will go 2nd to Chelsea or City again (and that's coming from a United fan)

Shame we appear to have missed out on Moura though (due to his shoddy agent and rich Qataris)

Clucktacular swap united and Liverpool around and you'll be much closer to being right ;)

Imo united will win it because we won't be as injury plagued next season probably while City had next to no injuries last season, same as Chelsea but I reckon Chelsea will be stronger this season due to the new signings (same as united too).

Last season United had 39 significant injuries - that being a player being unable for over two weeks - city had 7, Chelsea 13. Funnily, Spurs were second most injury plagued, Arsenal third and Newcastle fourth, behind united. Imagine what would have happened if every team had the same amount of injuries.

City lost 186 days to significant injuries- united lost 1,681. Chelsea were the second least injured team, yet still lost 356 days, double city. City rode no injuries last year, won't be the same this year.

Decent stats man!

I personally think the insane depth of City will get them over the line. Even with more injuries, what other teams in the world can bring the likes of Balotelli, Tevez, Nasri and Dzeko off the bench?

And yes, I was your 100th cheer ;)

I reckon after the euros super mario has shown he deserves to be starting for city

Its a fair conundrum isn't it? A fairly strong case could be made for Mario, Tevez, Aguero, Dzeko and even Nasri.
Probably why Mankini is experimenting with a 3-5-2 formation throughout the pre-season. Needs to play those class strikers more now they're all looking like elite forwards..
