would you sideways to improve in other positions?

have ellis as D7 at the moment and 110k in the bank. I can trade ellis to either Adcock, Hurn, Fisher or Sucking and use one trade. or i can trade martin to goodes and upgrade ellis to either Enright or Birchall. Thoughts?

F: Buddy, Beams, Sidebottom, Chapman, Danger, Zorko, Martin

Upgrade Ellis to who ever you can afford and save the other 2 trades

I was in the same spot last week. Decided to go with the one trade option and god suckers.. I know right.. Anyways I would still do that again coz I have one extra trade. I went to the Sydney game on Sunday and goodes was stuck at ff the whole game. Lucky the where playin carton so he actually got te ball.. And they had no match up for him.

Hurn, suckling, and Adcock would be better than fisher, as e was stuck at full back on Cloke for most of the game. Fisher was on 33 at 3qtr time on sat night standing Cloke the whole game.

Even with Blake back he will be as inconsistent as the other blokes as they will tag him out of games..
Hurn has a tough run home and as you saw on the weekend can get gaged out of it
Suckling has the best position in my opinion as he runs all over the ground using that deadly left foot
Adcock playing more defensive since Drummond went down

They all play a similar role coming out of defence.. Adcock for mine as he can win his own ball

Not sure where you are placed in Leagues.  As we are into finals it is time to trade to your advantage.  Strategy for Finals would be with trades remaining look at the unique match ups and if you believe you can win then hold trade if not trade to improve your position.
Until last weeks game Ellis's scores have been very reasobnable for a D7,  Do not know your bench but if you have spurr then maybe you can rotate Spurr or Ellis through D7.
If needing to trade Martin also consider Fyfe asw well as Goodes only $20k dearer and imo will otscore Goodes over the next 4 rounds.
