Pumas Qualifying Final + Rhythm Cup Squad

Def - Waters, Fisher, Houli, McMahon
Mid - Ablett, Sloane, Hartlett, Wallis
Fwd - Roughead, Blair, Whitecross, Wright
Ruck - Jacobs
Int - Minson, Griffin

Emg - Hannebery, D. Smith, White

Captain - Gary Ablett
Vice Captain - Jarryd Roughead

In - Jon Griffin
Out - Jason Porplyzia (shoulder)

Just the one change for this first final for the Pumas, with Porplyzia out of the squad with an injured shoulder. Jon Griffin returns to help with the ruck duties. Jacobs, Minson and Griffin vs Jenkins, so I think we should win the majority of the hitouts and make sure our midfielders get first use of the ball! No time for complacency now so named almost my strongest team possible, with the exception of injured players Zaharakis and Cross. Team should be good enough to get the win over the Armadillos, but anything could happen this weekend.

Go Pumas!!

3 teams yet to name! Interesting times...

Should also note the reserves are playing this week also...

Warriors v Wolves
Oncillas v Chollimas
Reindeers v Samurai
Suns v Bears

How many reserves you got playing ossie? I've got 9 playing, possibly 11 playing for the Oncillas this week :)

Yeah, well, with Kelly and Bolton pulling out what would have been my senior squad, I'm looking pretty thin!

Hey os, what will you do about teams that don't name a reserve team?

The last team the 3 teams that aren't in the finals have the Round 17 team carried over. The players that don't play in this team are the reserves

I should pay more attention. Frawley has an injury so he is out of the team.

Steven Morris replaces James Frawley
Jackson Allen and Steven May are having their spots swapped

...and another.

Justin Sherman's dodgy shoulder and terrible scores of late see him lose his spot.
Dustin Martin into the mids, Brandon Matera into the vacant forward spot.

#25
Cape Town Cobras Qualifying Final Team

Def: Grimes, Gwilt, A Johnson, C Guthrie
Mid: J Selwood (VC), T Cotchin (C), Watson, JPK
Ruck: Bird (half points)
Fwd: Sylvia, OKeefe, Hawkins, Cameron
Int: Milne, Curnow

Em: Dunn, Skinner

In: Guthrie, Milne
Out: Smith (ankle), Hunt (shoulder)

Depth is batteling so hard. No Broughton, Wood, Pittard or K Hunt in the backline, and Smith has chose one of the most unfortunate times to do his ankle. Still without Cooney and Iles too. Can't even fill a full emergancie list  :P
Going to take a MASSIVE effort from the boys to run down the Suns.
Still, we do have alot of faith in Guthrie and Milne to do the job they've been assigned, and the rest of the boys have been fine form.

Caarnnn the Cobras!

Btw, is there any home ground advantage during finals? I am pressuming so.

Chapman is a late withdrawal, I still expect to win with your depleted squad Chumps!
I'd be verrry dissapointed.

Cheers guys! And yes, home ground advantage will be in play for EVERY final except the Grand Final
