Anyone looking at getting Goodes or too risky?

Depends whos in your current team really

Porps to Goodes (1 trade) then put Jamie Elliott on the bench. Also with mpp gives me cover in the mid.

Just not sure if he will keep getting them high scores and worried about injuries.  :-\

Would avoid goodes. Sidebottom if you dont have him is a better option, or even fyfe I'm my opinion. Sydney are in great form but out of their 4 games left play Collingwood, hawks and cats, with the last two both being in melbourne.

good point dmac , how last 2 are in melb

The hawks game is at the scg actually, but still a tough draw

Goodes is a s/c monster, if you have the trades get him

he tends to perform better in the big games to so a tough run home may work in his favour aswell

TRUE
Goodes has a history of playing better in big games and playing better 2nd half of season. However i'm still dubious. With Reid gone he has to play more forward as LRT can't be left to do it all in those big games. And even though Bolton is injured they have Parker,Jetta,Kennedy,Bird,Jack,Hannebery,McVeigh to do most of the mid work. Eski and Shaw can also play on a wing.

Goodes is more than capable of big scores where ever he plays, but he was in doubt for last round. I wanted to get him back cheap but I don't think I'll risk him now. He's still not quite back to his best yet.
