Coaches looking for  forward have a close look at Taylor Walker...

he's coming off a 135, 4 goal effort and... he plays better without Tippo, thrives on the no.1 spot

he has Freo (footy pk), Brissy (Gabba) Melbourne, and Gold Coast! try en stop him!

I'll be reaping it in the finals I suggest you join me ;)

he's just the most natural looking forward I think I've ever seen, has more talent than most he will just get better and better with confidence! and he is ;)

Tex will stop Tex...brain fade central...and maybe a sharp gust of wind forcing upward pressure on them ears!!

Ive definately considered him, would be a massive risk but has a bloody good draw

Would you pick him over Sidebum or Beams this week if you could have any of those 3?

well asuming people already have one or both of them, I don't have Beams would probably have to go those M/Fs first,

I think: Beams-Dangerman-Sidebum-Pavlich-Buddy-then Tex for the next four weeks, but Tex could do anything

Clyde Frog

What is "Freo (footy pk)" supposed to mean?

Clyde Frog

I just want to know what "pk" stands for. No need to make a big deal out if it.

tbagrocks

Yep you're right.  It was Football Park for a long time before the sponsors got involved, and a lot of the grounds have since changed names.

Footscray played home games at the Western Oval for a very long time, and Fitzroy even had a stint there in the 90's.

As a kid I remember watching a long haired young bloke in his first year for South Melbourne at the Lakeside Oval.  David Rhys Jones got a huge wrap from Jack Dyer on the radio afterwards.

This is completely off the subject, but the game was very different back then.  Much quicker game now.

The Galloping Gasometer was very much loved in the 70's at Arden St, but not sure if the coaches would allow Mick to have half a dozen Dim Sims and smoke at half time if he played today.  May he RIP.

Mark "Jacko" Jackson was the 80's version of Brendon Fevola, only Jacko was much worse and probably harder to get along with.  Not really the team man that any coach would want.  He sucked 4 clubs in before they realized.  Fev only played for 2.

Enough history for one day from me.  back to the subject at hand.
