Time for the real stuff to begin.

Bring on the fantasy footy finals!

After countless hours of mulling over and experimenting with our teams it is time for the real stuff to begin, the horror that was the three week bye period is behind us after doing considerable damage to our average score per round and our teams are, for the most part, filled with premiums ready to carry us to premiership glory.  The cream of the crop has risen and we are left with 8 in our leagues, any of whom could take it all this year.  Will it be a cinderella story who comes from 8th to win it all or will it be the undefeated powerhouse sitting atop the league who does their due diligence and wins the last game of the year? Only the next 4 weeks will tell!

Good luck to all you supercoaches striving for league glory (and those of you in contention for overall, of course) over the next 4 weeks. The excitement you've felt watching one of your forwards take a strong contested mark and slot the goal (unless it's Travis Cloke) or seeing your captain suffer from a severe case of leather poisoning will increase tenfold over the next 4 weeks as you account for all possible hypotheticals, trying to determine if your season is over.

Good luck to you all, and for those of you who missed out on the eight in their respective leagues, better luck next year.

1st,1st,2nd (competing for money), 1st and 1st. I'm pumped!

not too sure if my team is at it's best though, it will be a full-premo team, however I have a fair few premos who aren't quite elite, on the field:

Suckling
Malceski
Lake
Hurn
Mumford
Martin
Zorko

(some of these^ will be debatable...)

Spuds11

5th 3rd 1st 1st 1st pretty happy with those results but this is where it heats up no easy wins on the table now its go hard or go home

Eski the big concern because of his questionnable JS and maybe Lake unless he can find some form fast.

Finally finals come around. Can start looking to make sideways trades (Goodes/Suckling) although the week I am going to the play well...

Happy with most of my league results. 1st, 5th, 2nd, 4th except for one where I finished 10th BUT ranked by TOTAL POINTS I am 1st for the league   ??? (apparently my team cannot defend...)

Dont worry there is a team in one of my leagues that was ranked 3rd by total points but finished 2nd bottom with only 4 wins.. Thats stiff!

Being a DT'r ::) started late in Super Coach (rd3) first year and went top ;D

I got Tex (135 today ;D) and he should light it up for the finals, Adelaide play- Freo (footy pk), Brisbane, Dee's, then the GF against the Gold Coast at footy park, try and stop him!! ;D 8)
worried about Suckling, Heppell, Martin and Rocky :-[! one trade so might sit! Goldy and Cox could fire in Ruck!

bartyboys

experienced coaches on this thread , would like your thoughts my team is this
2 trades and 300k left
backs deledio, goddard, h.shaw, carazzo, lake, ellis , baguley ( sam shaw . B.smedts)

mids ablett, pendles, watson, a.swallow.priddis. s. selwood ( m.wiilams, t.mcintyre)

ruck, cox kruezer, steph, redden
forwards, franklin sidebottom, danger, martin, j roo, pavlich, zorko, couch paine

my concerns. richmond should go well this week, but im not wrapped in martin and jroo.
s.selwood should be upgraded, but maybe put him to bench and complete defence
Kruezer not reliable enough for for finals.
made top four in 3 leagues and im in a knockout in a 4th

m. williams was going to go , baguley on mid bench. opens up all the keys with dpp. smedts and paine might not be much but have given me a fill in back and forward.
