AFL Teams Rd 18: How do they affect you?

It's Thursday night again and that means one thing for DTers - the teams are released...

For some that means pain; for others it brings unexpected joy.

There are some big outs but some even bigger ins this week, but also a number of star players still unselected for their sides this week. How is your team looking this week? Are you staring at donuts? Making any trades? Or are you looking at your best 22 on the park with 3 played EMGs lined up? Tell us all about how the teams affect you

Here is the lowdown on the big ins, the big outs and the players who remain on the sidelines that are relevant to many people's DTs (high-scoring players, premiums, rookies, popular mid-pricers, etc)

my team is looking very good after 2468 last week    8)

All my gun players are in and none of them are missing besides Buddy Franklin

DPP link to MIDs is coming in handy as Couch can sit on MID bench with Gibson as EMG, while Buddy sits on FWD bench with one of Goodes/Zorko/Porps/Treloar as EMG

Got a full team with Gibson and Shaw or Baguley as the other two EMGs

The DT footy gods have smiled on me this week. Can field a full team with reserves.

Not that I'm complaining have avg over 2300 past 3 weeks with 21 players.

I'll just hold trades until finals.

Aargh. Forward outs are so annoying. Got stupid couch, Robbo, Franklin and no dpp link, so I've been feasting on donuts the last couple of weeks. Hopefully some joy next week for the finals.

Screw it, I'm downgrading Broughton instead of upgrading him so that I can go Stanton to Boyd. Ellis will have to do because Stanton is killing me!

Still wonder if Beams could possibly match Boyd over the last few games but should be a solid trade all the same. If you're lucky Ellis will get more opportunities on the ball now that the tigers year is over

To answer your question Tom, Rodan doesnt get a game becuase Primus wont get his fist out his ass and play him. Puzzles me just as much as as it does you. Primus has said he needs to wrk on his game. But hes in our best 10 let alone 22 tbh.

Yeah, and Beams would give me more flexibility with positional coverage. However, that extra $30k would make an Ellis/Spurr upgrade easier come finals.

Almost certainly going Stanton to one of these two but, let's face it, whichever I pick will be the wrong choice ::)
