Question marks are cause i still think merrett is one of the best full backs in the league. Only put him at full forward cause he is playing there atm. McKeever isnt up to it atm but i think after a big pre season he will take up a kpd post.
What are your opions on there best 22. I wouldnt mind that 22 haha the lions are defs on the up :)

Polks is a much improved player in the lions team and plays the role voss asks for week in week out! I think polks would be one of Vossy's first picked players like Toovey was to Malthouse.

Would disagree only in a couple of areas aces

McKeever would be replaced by Harwood or Yeo both I think are better options with the other replacing Docherty on the bench.  Docherty still untried at Senior level.  Took a while to hit form in the NEAFL so that is the basis of my hesitation.

Unlucky players would be Clay Beams, Green, Crisp. Would bring Beams in if Black retires.

Obviously if we get Tippett in draft period he would replace Polkinghorne who may remain on emergency bench at expense of Yeo/Harwood.

We have a lot of depth in backs and it was hard to choose between Golby, Yeo, Wearden, Harwood, Docherty, McKeever and to a lesser extent Stiller,Crisp and Wrigley.  All fighting for 2 positions imo in the best 22. Have played all this year with the exception of Wearden and Docherty this year
We have built our depth this year and blooded youngsters and would not surprise to see Wearden and Docherty selected against Richmond to give them a chance after some outstanding form in the NEAFL.

I reckon that you should throw Merrett back because he is probably one of the best full backs in the league. And then get someone like Karnezis or Corneilius forward for a bit of height. And Polkinghorne deserves a spot in the team, may not be the most talented, but puts in the most work each week and does what he is asked.

Banfield is going to be a solid player for us, I liken him a bit to Adam Schneider. He has been injured almost all of this year, so look out for him more next year.

I don't see a position for mckeever, McGrath (anymore) and polkinghorne.

Add Harwood, Golby, Yeo and doch/polec/longer on field instead. and Lester on field too.

Also banfield should be delisted. Along with Cornelius (voss hates him) and berwick/karnizus.
