Being a Tigers fan i know too well what its like seeing your team finish 9th. I have a softspot and love the Kangas, and after finishing there the last 2 years i think it will be great to see you guys play finals this year :) Scott has brought in a professional edge in coaching and your youngsters are playing great footy! You're a great team to watch and i think we are going to forge a great rivalry over the next 5 years. Cotchin, martin, J Roo vs Swallow, Wells and Goldy! Good times lay ahead for both teams. Good luck for the rest of the year kangas fans, i hope you hold onto 7 or 8th spot :) will be great to see the Shinboners back in September action!

roo boys!

Thanks very much aces, I hope I see us there too! It was a great game a couple of weeks back between us and hopefully a sign of things to come. Both young, up and coming sides that are getting closer and closer each year to breaking out. At the moment it looks like we are slightly ahead of you in our development but if those three close losses had gone the other way we'd be saying the complete opposite!

I would like the roos or tigers to play finals next year but I think the roos have made it this year :)

2 years time we will both be top 4 contenders :) your mids when fully developed are going to be extremely formiddable! Goldy in the ruck is an A grader feeding the likes of bastinac, swallow, cunnington, atley, ziebell,  adams and wells who i think show the perfect balance versatility u need to be an A grade engine room. Exciting times! :D

that's if they can keep their talent, I know we will push hard for david.

Ziplock

lol, you're not getting him- I think they'll keep them. Nobody has the cash to throw around to tempt their players away- frankly a scully like situation can only happen if theres a shower ton of cash on the line.

its not a scully like situation, the roos arent looking for a flagship player and they are a team with a chance for the cup in the coming years. There is also the fact andrew is catpain of the team. And GC will be porbably under more salary cap pressure than the roos.

We'll just have to wait and see how it plays out

roo boys!

Hopefully for our sake Gold Coast and GWS struggle to fit all their players under the cap as the cap comes down and their players become top line and demand more cash, I'm sure there will be a few that leave. I'm not putting all my eggs into the one basket (Swallow), it would be great to get him but I think just him leaving (despite how good a player he will be) won't stop the Suns from becoming flag material eventually. I'm sure the "go home" factor could influence a few decisions for the young blokes (hopefully not Swallow though!)
