I reckon Broughton will be a pretty reasonable chance for a spot in my team next year. Even with role changes he's good for an 85 average if able to play uninjured and if he gets that f/d dpp then could be a very handy player to have. Also at least he generally tries to play thru his injuries, preventing donuts unlike a lot of those other mugs out there...

1) Ellis/Broughton --> Bell/Scotland (complete team but weak forwards with Goodes/Martin/Zorko and no Franklin/Beams)

2) Broughton/C.Smith --> Beams/Wrigley (leaves me with Ellis/Spurr for D7 but allows me to have Beams in forwards and Goodes as M7/D8)

3) Broughton/C.Smith or Gibson --> Bell/Boyd (again, leaves me with Ellis/Spurr for D7 but means I can move Stanton to M7 and have the much loved Swan/Ablett/Boyd combo in the midfield)

4) Ellis/Broughton --> Bell/M.Johnson (similar to 1 but gives me enough cash to go Gibson, Goodes or D. Smith to Boyd or Beams next week

I'm sure there are more options but that's me for now...

Yeah, that was probably where I was leaning towards. As long as M.Johnson + Beams combination is likely to outscore Scotland + Goodes (which I think it should).
The only problem with that is that it's three trades vs. the two of option 1...

Yeah true. Thinking about it I'm not convinced the extra scoring is worth a trade. It's just that Beams is pretty much a must have this year...
