yep and kicked alot more before that. TDL was in the smae deat for the past 2 years. I think he even kicked a bag of 20 one week and still couldnt get a game

the flying hawk

I think Morton can be that key forward for the swans

TDL looked flat on the weekend, not sure, but think Morton needs a chance as well...

Sammy might be back for TDL this weekend

I hope so, our structure is so much better with Sam in the team. Will allow goodes to pull his finger out and get going!

and not play like he has the team on his back

Lets go Mitch. You get your first chance today. Albeit in a subs vest, but I hope you have a big game.

I think Mitch could be a little bit of finals X factor.....

Didnt see the game, how did he look?? would have been hard to judge as it blew out abit. I think Morton, TDL and Everitt may rotate in that subs vest for a while.

He looked ok. He came on about 10minutes into the thrid and did some good thing pretty quick. Goal assist to Goodes and kicked a goal from in the goalsquare.
Was enough to have him stay in the team IMO and maybe even avoid the green vest next week?

so it sounds like we can trust him more than "itsy" (Everitt) and TDL

May be, not really enough time to make a judgement. He had free legs, the cue was in the rack, he would have wanted to do a few good things. If he starts against the Hawks and kicks a couple and provides tireless forward pressure we may have our answer :-)

I'd have to say, I think that's why Dimma let him go - he just doesn't seem to want to do the one-percenters (incl forward pressure - i suspect this is why Woosha didn't have any issue with him going either when he left West Coast for more opportunities), i was surprised when the Swans picked him up and is one of the reason why I reckon he was only ever taken as depth and maybe if the team wasn't kicking any goals at all ...

Samm79

Hopefully the Swannies club culture will help with these one percenters. Here's to hoping.. ;)

I agree it is a touch early yet to call. And Everitt has almost done enough for me to be happy with him as a fwd, but Horse seem determined to play him as a swingman... and that scares me too much
