Fisher/Scotland for S Shaw/Spurr or Carrazzo/Scotland/Bell for S Shaw/Spurr/BigO

I am concerned over Sam Fishers role this year as mentioned in another post here. However I am still considering him this week as a D5 ahead of Broughton Grimes Lake in my final team. Reasoning being he wont get any cheaper barring something crazy, he plays every week (barring injury etc), the Saints are in the fight to the end for the 8 so he wont get rested and the Saints play Melb and GWS in the first and third SC finals. Given that they play Geel in the semis but I hope to not be playing then as Im top 4 and Carlton in the SC GF. The best draw I can see for defenders apart from the Carlton duo of Scotland/Carrazzo which I crave but would have to prob use an extra downgrade to afford.

So long story short which move out of the two above do you think? I have 306 k in the bank and have 6 trades left. I am going to finish top 4 in my league and would also like to make a luxury trade for a f/m out of Fyfe/Harvey/Lewis/Okeefe depending who I can affford.

It would be good to know how long Broughton is out for. If he's out for a while, look to offload hm. I think a future trade for you might be Cloke-->Fyfe, depending on how Fyfe goes in the next 2 weeks. I'd look at getting in Carrots first though, wait till teams later in the week to determine who to get out for him.

Definitely need to know about Broughton as I've kept him all season and he's just as likely to bust out a 100 in sc finals if I trade him. So maybe this week Carrazzo in for one of Spurr S Shaw or Ellis. Ellis I think is good cover so maybe Shaw depending on teams ?

I believe he means that Bell is a defender, not a ruck.

Ok my bad got me there. His name popped up when I was on the trade wizard making the two trades of a defender and ruck. Will edit the poll thanks guys.

TBH I would rather play one of Ellis/S. Shaw over Cloke for the rest of the season. His run home isn't that good to assume he will ton up every match. I would go Cloke-->Fyfe and then Spurr or Broughton to whoever you can afford.

Wouldnt it be better to keep cloke as f8 get Fyfe in for Gibson before the finals and trade Spurr or Shaw if he's not named for Fisher this week. Then get Carrazzo in for Broughton/Spurr ?

With the Broughton situation Ive updated this poll. Basically there are 4 points:
1. Which option would you pick out of those listed.
2. Bearing in mind which def to keep as backup. I think Ellis for his js.
3. My next trade will be for the best m/f I can afford at the moment its probably looking like Fyfe/Harvey as I cant afford Okeefe without another downgrade.
4. With the m/f upgrade in mind do I grab Bell this week for maybe S. Shaw and bring in Scotland (lower be than Carrazzo) for Broughton as there may not be a suitable downgrade later as they tend to dry up.

Any thoughts most appreciate

Just to remind you I am safe in the top 4 and have 6 trades left with 306 k in the bank. Also the m/f trade will put Cloke to the bench as f8 and then I would have at worst 2 trades left for sideways trades when Danger or Thompson etc get rested if hopefullly I am still playing finals. Other than that an upgrade of Kreuzer to Jacobs maybe would be the last move.
