Hey guys, there's been a lot of interesting discussion on here lately about players to watch out for next year etc... and a little bit about DPP players and who will/won't lose their DPP's next year...

RL Griffen on DT Talk put together a great article about DPP's, their history and the likelihood of changes in DPP players next year.. Here's the link if you wanna take a look:

http://dreamteamtalk.com/2012/07/30/mad-monday-ye-old-switcheroo/

Also, if you wanna add your opinions on who you think might gain/lose DPP next year in the comments, I'll summarise everyone's thoughts at the end of the week!

Tominator

Tom Rockliff and Luke Shuey to be MID/FWD DPPs next year

Brendan Goddard to remain MID/DEF DPP

Brett Deledio and Steele Sidebottom to be MID only but I reckon Beams may still keep MID/FWD

Pearce Hanley could be DEF/FWD but wouldn't have thought DEF/MID like RL Griffin is saying

LF

Hanley could be named mid/back he often plays midfield but also plays off the back in some games

Coxy as a ruck/forward would be nice

JamSainter

Sorry have I missed the memo on why Shuey deserves to be FWD/MID?

Cox and Nic Nat F/R would be fantastic. I would pick 1 of them to join burger in the rucks and another in the forward line.

C'mon, this is NEVER going to happen. Surely CD would consider how high-scoring the players are when deciding DPP, they aren't going to make the best ruck and soon to be the best ruck in the comp DPP...

Rockliff Mid/Fwd would be great! Would love to see Gibbs regain his Def/Mid and Maybe Hodgey might be a discounted mid/fwd

Like the article says, its CD who decide the positional eligibility of a player, not VS.

Fixed, but still good point, no?

Mr.Craig

"...Shaun Grigg (DM) would be one of the most selected players next year as he slowly takes over from Deledio".

Absolute lock in my team if he is DPP. 8)
