How far can they go?

I still feel they have a big role to play in September. Premiership stars in Scarlett, enright, stevie j, selwood, bartel, corey, taylor and chapman etc have been there on the big stage and delivered. They are finding some good form and its the perfect timing! On their day come finals they can beat anyone, how far in September will they go cats fans?? :)

There's actually no reason why they can't make the GF. Even if they don't finish in the top 4. They are doing exactly what they did last season. They are hitting their best form at the right end of the season. I think the difference is they were almost assured of a spot in the top 4 by now.
It's not just about skills and experience though. This team is mentally the toughest I have ever seen. They just seem to meet any challenge that is thrown at them, and that is important this time of the year.
I will be interested to see what the coaches do when they are assured of a finals place. Will they play a younger team to help with their depth and rest some older players, or go for broke and try for a top 4 possy.

I guarantee none of the current Top 4 will be particularly looking forward to playing them in the finals.

a semi versus coll or hawks (  :'( ) is what you need goin to sydney and Adel would be tough as they lost at both those venues
the dream run would be colli,hawks in the semis and colli/hawks/nm (yeh yeh i know theres no chanced they will make it that far) in the prelim

To be honest with you hawka, i don't want us to play you again untill the GF. i still think the Hawks are the favs. All the game last week proved was that the cats are competative.
I'm really looking forward to this finals series, it should be at least as good as last years.
The game between Collingwood and Sydney should be a beauty. Incredibly, if Geelong can knock over the eagles, we'll only be maybe 1 game away from 4th. No-one would have predicted that a month ago.

The finals actually start this week i reckon. Every position is effected by the results this week. I think we'll end up playing North in an elimination final. What a game that should be.
