I was playing yesterday and the opposition (I'd be damned if I could remember who it was...) defenders were running back to defend my shot on goal from outside the box on the far side and the it looked like a clear goal to my boy Will Atkinson only for it to apparently be an own goal. I even watched the replay back and it didn't looked like the defender touched it. Meh, they scored an own goal, who am I to complain? ??? ::) :o ;D

Yeah true, could do that. Sending out the best scouts would deliver amazing results and I can use the guns I buy until the youths are ready and then sell them all. 8)

Has anyone managed an international team while managing their club? I didn't even realise one could do both at the same time. I've had some offers, but they were shower teams, I think I'll pay proper attention next time I get one.

great way of getting youth is by getting free agents... you don't pay a transfer fee and sometimes they can already be 75+ OVR before they turn 19

Just beware, my PC game crashed bigtime when I went all scout-y (Just got Man City, hired three most expensive scouts). Had to fire my scouts, as well as most of my youth squad. Also heard of it happening on consoles. But EA don't make any money on Career mode, so they won't fix it  ::)

Played against Liverpool; won 2-1, but my first choice Left Back and Centre Back both went down injured.....

Next game, my main striker breaks his ankle - not copping that shower, so I just closed the game and went back to the last autosave hahhaha

I play mine on PC and scout until my dick is content without issue.

So, I decided to sim a few games against sides in the bottom half of the ladder for easy wins. Not only did I lose and draw one, but Rojas broke his collarbone and is out for 3 months. ::) Oh and after months of service and leading the Championship in clean sheets, he decides he's had enough and hands in a transfer request, ended up selling him to Arsenal for 6.5mil. ::)
