The board turned it down the one and only time I tried, but that was after I already splashed my whole budget on Butland.

He's been solid without being a star tbh. Proctor, on the other hand, has stepped up and is making me happy.

Brought in a striker called Quadrini for my career mode.
He's 19. 6'8". 72 overall (Second best player in my 3 star team). Got him at a steal! He's also going to get most goals in Ligue 2 :D
Basically he's the Incredible Hulk.

Won capital one cup and community shield or whatever for Wolverhampton, currently 3rd in the PL with a team all under 25 and all in the 70s. After I either win the PL or champions league ill start a new manager mode with Torquay most likely.

My scout found this young gun named Ryan Mitchell who apparently had the potential to reach 91 overall.  :o But yeah, had no money to sign him. :( My 16 year old - Javier De Menses -  who started with a 54 overall is up to 55 after a few games and looks the goods. Really happy with the Rojas buy too, but his stamina is horrible, barely lasts a half.  :-\

My Wycombe team is currently in the championship. All players in the 70s and under 21.
My gun striker i got as an free agent is currently 19yo and 83

Sold both Hanson and Proctor for like 2 million and 3 million respectively, got Samed Yesil on loan until the end of the season and Omar Wade in to replace them. They've both started well. 8)

Hoping to get Yesil permanently once his loan ends. Probably unlikely. Bloody free agents hate me, they never accept my contract offers which are perfectly reasonable.  ::)

Just offer them 'important team player' role or whatever it is but not crucial cause then they dog about not getting games
