Hey guys I have a big trade dilemma here and I need your advice.

3 trades and $14,700 in the bank. My team is as follows:

DEF: Deledio, Birchall, Goddard, Waters, Carrazzo, Lake, Hargrave (S.Shaw, Darley)
MID: Ablett, Swan, Boyd, Thompson, Pendlebury, J.Selwood (Gibson, Couch)
RUC: Cox, Maric (Giles, Campbell)
FWD: Beams, Martin, Dangerfield, Zorko, Porplyzia, Goodes, Treloar (Sidebottom, Franklin)

MY OPTIONS:

Option 1: Trade Adam Treloar to Anthony Miles. $218,800 for my last two trades. Two donuts this weekend.
Option 2: Trade Sam Darley to Mark Baguley. $178,000 for my last two trades. One donut this weekend.
Option 3: Trade Adam Treloar to Anthony Miles and Ryan Hargrave to Heath Scotland. $85,100 for my last trade. One donut this weekend.
Option 4: Do not trade. $14,700 for my last three trades (2 upgrades, 1 downgrade). One donut this weekend.
JUST ADDED - Option 5: Trade Ryan Hargrave to Mark Baguley. Switch Treloar to FWD line and Couch to MIDs. $232,800 for my last two trades. No donuts this weekend.

Miles is a great scorer but could be a case of too little too late. Would've been lovely to have him earlier in the year, but couldn't get games. Is coming along at a good time for a late-season downgrade now but if it means I have two donuts this weekend is it really worth it?

With my league situation, I'm sitting in 3rd (level with 2nd but lower on percentage) but could be My league game next week is an easy win but this week I am playing one of those teams that gets an 1800 one week and a 2200 the next. No idea what he is gonna serve up this week, but I do know he has no donuts.

Please vote and comment, it would be a massive help. Thanks lads

All helpful comments will receive cheers :)

Eithe 1 or 4. I don't reckon you have to trade, and team looks quite quite good generally, but if you feel that miles is the rook you need then get on him. Won't be too many more rookies coming through so he could be worth the punt.

Mr.Craig

Don't get Miles, I think he'll be very unreliable bench cover. Darley to Baguley sounds good. Shaw will hopefully be back next week and he's capable of decent scores.

Save the cash and 2 remaining trades for the finals.

Option one! Going into the finals with a couple trades is definitely advisable and verrrry helpful!

l'm not trying to confuse the situation, but have you considered downgrading Giles to an el cheapo rookie ruck ? You would end-up with more to spend on your upgrades, get to keep Treloar for extra cover and still only get one donut

Colliwobblers

i would be more inclined to think teams NOT in finals contention will be more likely to play rooks.

also sheeds definately wants to get as many games into each player on his list as possible, Miles should play 4 or 5 more to reach the 6 minimum sheeds refered to earlier in the season, Miles is also a GUN.

baguley seems a good option but will he be playing in the next few weeks when the bombers finals hopes are on the line, yes he is playing this week but no one in thier right mind would expect them to win this one.

plus having that amount of cash for your last two trades is a very solid position to put yourself in.

option 2 would be second on my list tho, regardless of what i said about baguley, as it saves you a donut AND gives you almost as much cash.

Tominator

its not that I don't like Baguley but I want as much cash as possible for my last two trades.

Say, for instance, I upgraded Hargrave to Scotland. That would set me back about 120-130K. I would only have 50K for last upgrade so may be selling myself short there..

Keep in mind they will rarely have to play on my field, if ever at all.

What about this?
Option 5: Ryan Hargrave to Mark Baguley. $232,800 in the bank for last two upgrades. No donuts this weekend.

Risky though having Shaw/Baguley/Darley as D7 for next a week or two..

Have thought about that mate, but with Maric under a big injury cloud then I could be in some strife if I dump Giles too. He is there as reassurance should Cox or Maric go down, and we all know that could be just around the corner (the way rucks have gone down this year). Cheers for the input though :)

Definitely the new option, Hargrave is a pain in the ass anyway and 0 donuts plus lots of cash for later in final is very handy.

Even if it means missing out on Miles?

I'm warming to it myself as well

Don't get me wrong, I like Miles as a player but things like this act as warning signs...

I can see the benefit in Option 5 but it does leave you exposed to potential donuts, something I guess you have to weigh up.

Tominator

thanks a lot for your help lads, I did go with Option 5 and Baguley's 86 I am very happy with. Massive thanks once again :)
