Beams for Buddy??

I've carried Buddy for a few weeks, and with Robbo and Sidey also giving me donuts have I made the right (but tough) call of trading Buddy for Beams?
Will leave me with 2 trade and $147 in the bank - and hopefully secure some wins in the leagues I'm in, ensuring finals action.
Will give me a Forward line of:
Chappy, Danger, Beams, Porps, Robbo, Sidey, Zorko, Smedts and Dell'Olio. Smedts covers Robbo this week, whilst I can swap Robbo with Treloar on the Midfield bench.

Buddy is gold at times, but can give some ordinay scores too. Beams has been solidly consistent.

I could instead improve two midfielders - Ward and/or Sloane, although Sloane has a good draw for the finals so he could be my "difference"

having both would be better, franklin will probably be back next week, so if u want to save 0s then id trade sidey or robbo out. its too late to trade buddy and would be a masive waste having him on the bench for the last 2 weeks

I wouldn`t trade Sidey out i reckon he is just being rested and will play next week Robbo should be back next week and Franklin should be back as well
I`m in the same boat as you same players out i`m copping the donut so are a lot of other people.IMO you`d be wasting your trades.

i know, but if he did want to save a doughnut this week i would say franklin and beams would be the best 2 out of the 4

Yeah - think I'll make the tough call and keep my 3 trades (hopefully not needing them for a long term injury).
With 3 trades and $150k I should easily have enough cash to upgrade 2 for the finals and downgrade 1 for cash no matter what happens with value changes over the next couple of weeks.

Anything else you would be willing to do to get Beams in? He is essential IMO
