Backs - Lids, Scotland, Goddard, Shaw, Johnson, Lake Broughton (shaw, darley)

$91,200 left and 4 trades left. Was hoping to use one of these trades to get in Pattinson for the big O and link Pattinson up with Roughie as I still have Giles at Ruck 2 along with Cox.

Some tough games coming up, will make finals but could make top 4 if I win both. Little chance of winning this week with a d'nut down back.

Thing is upgrading Broughton leaves quality defenders out of my reach. Can't get Enriight, Carrots, Birchall.

Also is Broughton the one that needs to go? How bad is his injury? If I get shaw out can still afford carrots, if I go Darley I can't. Will Darley or Shaw be back soon?

Anyone affordable I am missing? Can't see anyone exciting me. Worth being down to 2 trades this early by doing the Big -> Pattinson trade now so I can afford Carrots? Any help appreciated!

Cheers

Go hard or go home is my motto at the moment so go for it. Broughton could be a great D8 if (big if) he can finish the year strongly. And getting Roughie as a R2 is a no brainer. How does that leave your forward line though?

Make the 8.

That is all you need. Average trades left will be under 4 so you can trade when it suits after another week or two.

Hold.

Look at this week's unexpected outs and prepare for more in the following weeks.

That's what I have done at the moment Carrots in for Broughton.

Fwds looking weak this week with Sidey and Buddy out but no D/nuts. Have smedts to cover and move Adams of my mid bench for Sidey.

Fwds - Danger, Buddy, Sidey, Goodes, Zorko, Martin, Treloar (Smedts, Pattinson).

Had vague plans of getting in a cheap fyfe after swinging Roughie into the rucks at some stage but trades running low now that I can't count Broughton as a premo down back

Spinking

Carrazzo in for Brough looks very handy here. Also like the idea of sneaking Fyfe in late. Will be a great POD if it comes off. Just watch form though. Might be very rusty first up.

Hmm yeh I am really struggling to decide if it's worth the risk. I'm 6th at the moment. Can't fall out of the 8, could snatch 4th if I win both games and is 50-50 whether other results would get me there.

Is 50-50 good enough if the flip side is only having 2 trades left? Any help greatly appreciated!
