Ok effectively the scenario is...

4 trades remain with ~$89k in the bank.

Would you:
(a) straight swap J.McDonald to M.Murphy OR
(b) double trade Dempsey to Swan and McDonald to Miles. (There is a DPP switch involved as well).

Don't get in too deep. If (a) Dempsey would be bench cover, (b) no proper cover.

Personally I would play it safe. Those trades look good, but how will you feel if you bring in Swan and he does a hammy on the eve of the finals.

If you must trade, I'd get Murph.

No not at all, just making the point that if you trade Anyone in now as opposed to in 2 or 3 weeks time then there is a risk they will get injured and cost you a trade. Just using Swanny as an example. Sorry should have explained better.

I agree! Use minimal trades if you can, maybe go Mac to Murph this week then sit on your three trades for finals!

No but the point is still valid.  By getting Murphy instead of Swan you have an extra trade.

I would get in Swan - worth it once you make him captain.

dswallow24

Get Swan make him captain, team complete.

At the moment, decided to go Swan so I can move Carrazzo out of the middle, figured out that I would've had to make another trade for Baguley anyway to put best team on the park.

Also after this my team reads
D: Deledio, Scotland, Carrazzo, Birchall, Grimes, Goddard, Heppell (Shaw, Spurr)
M: Boyd, Swan, Watson, Pendlebury, Rockliff, Priddis (Gibson, Miles)
R: Maric, Ryder (Redden, Campbell)
F: Beams, Sidebottom, Franklin, Johnson, Lewis, Zorko, Dangerfield (Goodes, Hall)

Keeping Ryder until finals as I'm happy to play Redden for another 2 weeks if picked, Sidebottom out hurts but resting isn't unexpected. 2 trades, $67,900.
