What to Do? Mids and Forwards look like this.
Mids Ablett, Swan, Boyd, Watson, Mitchell, Gibson emer Sexton, Old mac
Forwards Buddy, Sidey, Beams, Robbo, Dusty, White x, Zorko emer Porps, Treloar

I want to complete my mids this week and Pendles would be my ideal pickup. I have 142k and 1 trade left. I really wish he struggled last week and got well under that 141 B.e so i could straight swap oldmac or treloar but he did well and stayed out of reach at 472k :/ I love porps as bench cover but my only way of getting pendles is swapping sexton to the forwards losing the dpp link and trading porps out, leaving Treloar risky js and old mac gibbo okay cover for the year including finals. THE OTHER OPTION IS TO OUST OLDMAC FOR STANTON (STRUGGLING BIGTIME) OR MURPHY (LIKELY TO GET TAGGED HARDCORE FOR THE REST OF THE YEAR) and keep my dpp link which may be important.

So option 1 Pendles likely to average 120 + for the year with dodgy bench security (Treloar forward oldmac mid) with gibbo who looks good
Or
Option 2 Stanton or Murphy who might average 100 but bench cover will be fantastic (Porps forward treloar mids with gibbo).

Fire away guys all help will gain u cheers :) thank you and sorry about the line full of capitals i couldnt be bothered fixing it haha

My only concern with Murph is no Judd and Simpson to ease the pressure on tags. Otherwise he would be a lock! I think he is an out and out star, what are your thoughts on his output for the rest of the year?

Wait and see if Old mac, Porps and Treloar are  named... then perhaps Zork to mids, Sexton to Forwards, Porps / Treloar on field, would leave Gibson, Old Mac and Porp or Treloar on bench  as cover and no actual trade. Keep it up your sleeve if you can IMO.. :o

Holz

With no trades left you need good bench cover. I would go to murphy

Spinking

Would be good to get Pendles in there but it looks like it would throw out he balance of your team. I'd probably say go to Murphy who I thinks will average 90ish while Judd is out, but will go big once he is back. I suppose it depends on whether you need immediate points.

Definately steer clear of Stanton.

Good luck mate!

Hmm good point mate, i feel porps will play out the rest of the year, Treloar and old mac concern me. Ive been playing with the idea of swapping Beams to the mids permanently then trading old mac to chappy after he falls with a B.E of 186.
Which would leave my team sitting at
mids swan, ablett, boyd, mitchell, beams, watson emer Gibson Treloar
forwards chappy, buddy, robbo, sidey, dusty, white x, zorko emer porps, sexton
Look okay?

Yeah i think thats my leading option atm holz. To risky having to rely on old mac and treloar come finals time and i want to improve on my 750 ranking :) Need a 6th mid prem asap

Cheers buddy, I think your right with throwing my teams balance out by getting Pendles. My aim was to try and get 6 of the top 10 mid prems but if u look at what i said below i could maybe bring beams into the mids and get chappy in the forwards for old mac??What u think and i would love some quick points i need a 6th prem mid asap to move up from 750th :)

Hold the trade if you can BUT if you feel you have to trade then go with Pendles. Stay clear of Stanton, I've had him since the start and its been an absolute roller coaster to say the least!

ScottieD

Porps has had a couple of good weeks and has better JS, but I don't think he's significantly better cover than Treloar & OldMac.

DT avg's:  Porps 77.3 / Treloar 73.5 / JMac 74.5.  Much of a muchness.  To be honest I'm surprised Porps has lasted this long, I didn't pick him at the start of the season because he's too injury prone.  Plays without a real duty of care for himself - like Waters.  JMac has missed a lot of games, so no real reason he can't play out the rest of the year.  Treloar has been good and shown he can score very very well.

Pendlebury is fresh and raring to go after 6 weeks break with an injury that will not hamper his performance, time off was just precautionary more than anything - I mean he was able to play the game out after fracturing his tibia in 1st quarter.  So he should fire and won't be rested.

Murphy a bargain - but it's your last trade - money not really an issue.

You're already taking a gamble by using all your trades - may as well take the gamble of removing your DPP too!

Go Pendles.

Cheers guys :) i think im gonna hold my trade for a week and swap beams to the mids and bring in chappy for oldmac. I feel chappy and murphy will be pretty similar for the year. What u think? Only fear is chappy may be risked

Noz

Hold that last trade.

Gibson should do OK as a M7 or you could switch Zorko to the mids with DPP link and play Zorko instead of Gibson. Zorko is capable of scoring big and can take up M7 until the finals where you could use that last trade. Porps on field in the forward line with Sexton and Treloar on the bench.
