Fremantle coach Ross Lyon has likened his young star Nat Fyfe to Essendon champion James Hird and St Kilda milestone man Brendon Goddard.

I'd believe the Goddard call but not the Hird one. Hirdy was one of the elite players of our game, Fyfe has played one good season. He may end up being a great player but there is a long way to go in my opinion.

I agree he has a long way to go but I believe he has the talent. Keep in mind that this is still only his 3rd season and he has only played a handful of games.

i can remember when fyfe got injured, he played fyfe down and said something along the lines of it will be a small loss. now he is back he is pumping hip up to be as good as hird.
