My dads team

My dad has not had much time to fix up his team this year and has giving the saddle over to me for the rest of the season (Don't go and complain and me having 2 teams as this team would be lucky to finish under 100k)

Rance, Goddard, Broughtan, Golby, Hunts, Smetds, Sam Shaw (Tynan, Allen)
Ablett, Swallow, Pendles, Redden, Caddy, Magner (Clay Smith, Ledger)
Cox, Mcintosh (Redden, O)
Dangerfield, Sidebottom, Beams, Franklin, Walker, Motlop, Harper (Elliot, Cripps)

He has 16 trades left with $12,500 left in the kitty. Surprised to see we can still make the 8 we would need to beat 16th and 10th to do so as we are currently sitting 9th 2 games clear of 10th and 8th. If this was your team which trades would you make?

Fair enough. With so many trades I'd start by building up some cash by turning over some of those rookies. Just a few obvious spuds that you probably would have steered clear of.

If Broughtan wasn't named i was thinking of turning him into Grimes then getting more cash by downgrading Cripps to Couch.
If Broughtan was named i was thinking Cripps to Couch, Hunt to Grimes
