Must win to get in the 8

League is very tight with % keeping me just outside the 8 in 9th spot and I am playing 10th who is also out on %..
and I will be playing a top 4 team next week, so 2 must win games to keep my finals hopes alive.

Only have 3 trades left with $8900 in the bank, not ideal but injuries have stuffed me..


Any recommendations of what my next move should be?

it kinda depends on the squad of the guy playing you this week. care to post it?

off the top of my head something like tippet>mcinyre, giles>jacobs. or maybe adams>pav instead if adams isnt named.

sucks to think of trading tippett with the crows run home, but i dont see any other alternative.

edit: actually i dont think u could afford pav. any of danger, roughy, chappy, petrie, stevie j works fine

If you must win next 2 to make 8, and Buddy likely out for both. Would you consider Buddy --> Pav. Then wait for selection to see if you need to use 2nd trade this week.  Probably an unpopular idea to drop Buddy, but u definately need Pav imo. Tough one, but good luck.

trading franklin is terribly shortsighted, even though it's this week that's critical.

i would def go tippett>mcintyre (if he's named. if not then tippet to either bruce or miles), then giles>jacobs.

you'll grab a 50pt advantage in the ruck while maintaining a rough breakeven in the fwds, then when it comes to winning next week you'll have franklin back in as well.

Your assuming Buddy's back next week. I reckon Tippett is more likely.  Anyway he's not gonna lose any points having Pav over Buddy next week assuming he comes back.  Pav's recent avg is greater than Buddy.
Buddy > Pav earns more points this week when he needs them.  Can always do the Giles upgrade next week.

Anyway I'd love to know what u end up doing - good luck!

If you trade buddy you may win this week, may, but you'll be stuffed for the finals maybe an option would be to take the hand you're given and concentrate on winning the bottom section finals and finishing as high as you can in the overall...

On second thoughts, trade buddy and pray his season ends in his next game, then you will be at an advantage against other teams with 1-2 trades, and have some dollars up your sleeve.. You are unfortunately between a rock and a hard place... Speaking of ROK, he may be your downgrade option. Good luck mate
