Must win game, who to get?

This week I have a couple of must win games in my leagues and as a result I have to trade out my old buddy Michael Hibberd if he is not named this week. Whoever comes in will be my D7, and these are currently the lads I'm looking at:

Dyson Heppell - This guy is almost the perfect D7. Not injury prone, won't be rested. And going by his current form should score at least 85 each week.

Jack Grimes - Seems to be the shining light in a rather dull Melbourne team at the moment. Has potential to score big, won't be rested either, but his injury history turns me off quite a bit.

Sam Fisher - Is dirt cheap at the moment for someone of his potential. Can put up some massive scores, but is his fantasy career all but done now that Dawson is gone and he has to play as a lockdown defender?

I'm also considering Yarran, Newman and Rance, but feel as though the above guys would be a better fit.

For the record my backline is currently: Deledio, Goddard, Scotland, Waters, Suckling, Lake, D7 (Shaw, Darley)

Would appreciate any comments, thanks!

All players can get injured, even if some are more prone than others.
I vote Grimes, seems to be running through the middle more and, as you said, has a much higher ceiling.

Very very true. Although at this stage of the season I have to take injury past into account!

Id go Grimes also, although he is one of those injury prone players.  This would probably be the most games he's played in a season thus far.

Having said that he is relishing the captain role, running through the midfield more regularly and getting a lot of cheap marks and kicks in the back line.  Id get on him.

Grimes for me too.

He only needs to string about 6 games together to get you through.

No way Newman.

heppell safe but probably lower scoring than Grimes.

Rance can score low too.

Thoughts about Thompson Kangas? Guerra? Murphy the dog?

heppell doesnt score well in SC if you can live with 70 - 85 get him otherwise grimes easily grimes, basically a midfielder for your backline, getting plenty of it working his butt off doing all the things SC loves except deciding games in his teams favour.....

i still think grimes has been more unlucky with injury than a true case of an injury prone player ala missy higgins

fever

are you guys insane? have a look at grimes recent scoring not including the port game.

yarran or heppell easy

Apart from last round has been poor. I vote Yarran

Thanks for the replies guys!

I think it's definitely between Heppell and Grimes at this stage. Grimes has a higher ceiling, but as fever was alluding to, he has had 3 scores of 60, plus a 50 and a 40. Heppell probably won't score any huge tons, but with only one bad score of 63, I could probably handle the odd 70 (which he's only done three times this season) if I know I won't be getting any disappointing scores.

I might sit on it for now and see which way I want to swing on Friday

Do you have the cash to get Carazzo. Still a good option at the price and averaging over 100 if you takje out his injury effected score

i have had grimes from the start, i think i have just about traded him 5 times, if not for all the bad luck this season he would be gone, If i was to make a trade i would take yarran

How much cash have you got? Grima/Harbrow/M.Johnson better options if you have the extra 20k.
