The saints have a secondary tagger if needed in Armitage I believe, Boyd captainers should be wary of that.

Anyway, great write up as usual LH! Going Stanton this week. I have a feeling. :P

How did you feeling about Zorko work out last week Koop?

But... Hmmph, well hmph, umm hmph. Not my finest hour by any means. :P
Have faith! I'll be making Stanton my captain in EXV but I can't say no to Swan this week.
I'd also feel immoral making a top 5 and then going in a different direction...

l'll probably risk having the big "c" on swanny again in EXV  :P

Hey LaHug, have you seen some stats on GWS? RLGriffin from DT Talk posted these stats on Twitter:

Pure Midfielders v. GWS Rnd 15-17: Mitchell 106, Sheils 120, Vince 126, Thompson 110, Barlow 103. #GiantCaptainChoice

compare this to:

Floating Forwards v. GWS Rnd 15-17: Rioli 159, Roughead 139, Lewis 111, WhiteX 110, Wright 121, Porps 100, Pav 120

He says: "If Swan isn't thrown forward & plays Mid; Beams (+ Sidebottom & Thomas) have a higher scoring potential than Swan IMO."

What are your thoughts on this?

LaHug

I've noticed a bit of this trend too and have been wary when considering players such as Mitchell, Thompson, etc. However, Swan almost always kicks goals and scores no matter who he plays so I don't think it will be a problem. I'm more inclined to think that it'll affect Pendles and Daisy... Still, Collingwood is a cut above most teams so even these two could do well.

If you're a gambling man... and no stats will help justify this prospect... And if you're safe in league and want a unique to gamble on with overall standings... and if you're bored cos you have no more trades so want to do something different...

T. Cloke.

Could he kick a big bag?

Considering form to date, contract talks postponed etc I would suggest this is a bad move.  But if you've got the useless bugger, why not try and salvage something out of him for the season by putting the C on him...?  ahaha, can't wait to cop it for this post.

Justin Bieber

I doubt Stanton will get a kick against the hawks. Past form or whatever...

Would be such an entertaining gamble. I can see it working really well... but it's kinda blurry vision... him failing big time is much more likely.

130. I said it and I'm ready to cop it on the chin when I'm completely wrong.

swan potentially rested?
Is this a thought you've had or have you got a source backing this up?

LaHug

I know it's against the Suns, but really DT Gun?!

No chance. He's not under any injury cloud (that I know of) and the Pies want a percentage boost this week.

Tominator

Nice work once again LaHug, where would we be without you  ::)

will lock the C on Dane Swan but Dayne Beams could get a monster score if he is left to run free

really hoping Dayne Zorko tons up and returns to his glory days of weeks gone by 8)
