Only pick up cheap prems if they are there due to a sub effected score due to a concussion or slight injury......cheap prems who are cheap due to poor form should be avoided because they are cheap for a reason......my backline is cheap upgrade pickups was a bad decision.....not falling for that next year

Biggest lesson i think, which I luckily stood by in my first season, is don't trade out a 4+ week injury immediately - hold for at least a week and wait for more concrete news - they don't go down in price and assuming you picked well at the beginning you should have some cover.

Curious who you have? You're 100% right, them ones are annoying tempters!! Saying that there is the odd one who ends up a great pick, but you're more likely than not to pick up a dud if that's youre aim

Yeah don't worry mate, I think everybody has got sucked in to buying a cheap premo due to bad form before. At least you will know for next year

Ah man, I just can't get this one right! Trading vs holding, particularly around rounds 8-10, can be tricky, but I've definitely learnt my lesson for next year. Traded Ablett (to Murphy) when I should have held onto him was a huge mistake. That extra trade could have been used to trade out Pendles when he had his recent stint on the sidelines and I went on to lose some important league games.

The biggest lesson of all for me this season has come from everybody's 2 favourite fantasy footballers, Mr. Sandilands and Mr. Mumford. Never again...

I may have been lucky, but i've held all of my premos for at least a week, Ablett, Scotland and Waters all back after a week off - I held Zaha and then swapped him for Beams and he's out.  Franklin is sitting on the pine also but mainly cos he is sitting on almost everyones.  Even with these good decisions I still sit on 4 trades only though

Traded in Cloke, Mummy, Sandilands, Zaharakis, NDS over the course of this year...been very unlucky!

Had Dempsey from the start (cheap due to injury) and now trading him out to one of the most consistent defenders of the year so far... Haha

I traded him in when he was in bad form (MISTAKE) but I still hope he do OK and be a solid M6 who can average 100-105...
