The It

Assuming that Lids does lose his DPP would you still consider him as a premium midfield? Hes been one of the most consistant players all year (2 games under 100) or will be like Gibbs and fall off scoring

Noz

Backs: Hanley, Hodge (DPP link maybe?), Staker (Should be cheap and hopefully DPP link), Plowman, Docherty

Mids: Swan, Shuey/Broadbent/Hartlett (One of them), Cotchin/Ablett

Rucks: Naitanui, Grundy/Bailey

Forwards: Robinson, Rioli (Ready to take a punt on him)

gossiboy

Most teams will be locking in Jaeger O'Meara and Brad Crouch as their starting MID rookies.

Wacky Tiger

Cotchin will be a lock for me for the next 5 years bar injury.

Lids will lose DPP as others has stated unfortunatly although Gibbs will probably gain it again so prob have him back there.

Windigo

I think I may wait another year with Cotchin.

Boyd, Swan etc still arguably better than him at this stage. But depends what his price is next year.

Chelskiman

Backs - Lids, Scotland

Mids - Swan, Ablett, Pendlebury, Cotchin

Rucks - Luenberger

Forwards - Buddy, Beams

They will be my dead set locks I reckon if Lids and Beams hold their DPP status.  If not I'll have to re-think.  A. Swallow is worth a shout too.

Scotland 33yo in July 2013 will be a dead set lock?

Chelskiman

I'm sure people said that when he was 30, 31 and 32 as well.  Gotta love how consistent he is.  He doesn't usually do any hard running, so I can't see him burning out in just one year.

Scrads

The Mummy-Burger ruck combo will be mine for sure.

Will be going in with a mid of Swan, Ablett, Pendlebury, Murphy at the very least.

Most of the other common ones. Shuey and Rocky locks if M/Fs, I will pick Martin if he retains M/F....

In the backline Birchall, Heppell, Gibbs if eligible...

zeddyzed

Deledio, Swan, Maric, Beams. But i think a few players will lose their DPP next year unfortunately.

Capper

Mummy and Burger will be the best cheap rucks going around
Fyfe as well will be cheap as well
Gibbs and lids, if there are DPP Back/Mid
Bock in the backs
Swan and GAJ are a lock in the mids
Rohan, Beams and Buddy in the fwds
Hmac in the fwds if he gets DPP

Capper

i think i gave my strategy away already

time to keep quiet

Picking discounted players isnt a new thing buddy haha, i think most teams next year will have Leunberger, Fyfe and Lecras, all 3 will get a healthy discount for playing less than 10 games.

tbagrocks

Back:  Gibbs, Grimes, Heppell, Goddard

Mid:    Cotchen, Ablett, Pendels, Swan, Crouch

Ruck:   Good luck!!

Forward: Buddy, Martin, Bennell (mpp?) Rocky?

EZA100

i probably will go with no key forwards and no key defenders
def - carrazzo, deledio and gibbs (if dpps)
mid - ablett, murphy, pendlebury
ruc - mcevoy, leuenberger
fwd - beams, rocky, sidebottom (if dpps)

don't really know about what rookies I'm going to get looked over the nab u18 championships and saw o'meara, kennedy, grundy, whitfield, daniher and vines.
