Hands up who is seriously now considering sideways trading NDS.
Approaching our league finals you cannot afford to have passengers in your team.
NDS is really disappointing me. He is lazy and does not seem to go after the hard ball. Very soft.
Too inconsistent from my liking.
I have 6 trades left and should have a top 4 position in my league sewn up next week.
So I reckon it might be a sideways trade just before finals.
Anyone else ?

With 6 trades I'd say do it. See if you can straight swap to Pendles, or Murphy if you are short on coin.

Id be angrier if I was a Goddard owner. Looked more disinterested than NDS

If only I had trades left to get rid of this muppet...

He started to find a bit of the footy in the third until the hard tag came, then disappeared again. Going to have to keep the faith though, we know what he can do and hopefully will find something for the finals.

yes Goddard is a big worry for me, didnt look interested at all today. Got the showers as well and mopped around a bit. He may be moving next year if he keeps this up

He is pissing me off in SC. Apart from the 2 game suspension he is averaging 84 over the last 3 which includes a score of 67. If he does move I would love him at Carlton

fever

he becomes sam mitchell the first round of finals for me

Yer I posted a subject about this the other day.

I can't afford to carry both Nicky Dal & Griff....I think NDS is in the cross hairs to murphy for me this week.

Then will upgrade Griff to Jelwood or Ablett before the final to ensure their not rested.

I'd been wanting to sideways NDS for weeks now but had to fix up other areas.  Now I don't think I can afford to use the trade.  If I had 6 I reckon I'd be dropping both saints.

yorgis

reckon maybe clokey and god are on their way to greener pastures

Did a trade to get Goaddard back on to field this week, would've been better spent leaving him on the bench and upgrading NDS

If looking for a POD and only 60k dearer than Dal look at Rory Sloane Averaging 116 for last 3 games and 106 for last 5 and Crows have a reasonable run home. With 6 trades left would be tempted to get Sloane for Dalsanto will average more. Owned by less than 5% of teams so a reasonable POD going into finals.

I am going to keep NDS as he has a game against GWS in prelim week which could prove the difference. But in saying that, if he can average 100-104 for the remainder of the year I'd take it.

That's a really good point, actually one of the reasons I grabbed him come to think of it.

In retrospect I guess the Saints were pretty flat against the Swans (only 3 low tons) so I would expect him to do better once the Saints kick into gear. If they want to make a run at the finals they will need all their guns firing, especially the likes of Dal Santo and Goddard

Exactly, only the last couple of weeks has he been poor and in both games the Saints weren't fantastic that is for sure.
Expect him to come out with 110 against the Dogs this week (hopefully doesn't get the Picken tag).
