It's Goodes and 52 points vs Dusty Martin for my league win. At this rate Dusty is a shoe in!

He averages 106 against North and his highest score ever (141) was against them. I wouldn't be so quick to rule it out. ;)

Dustin hasn't started playing yet, don't count your eggs before they hatch :P Oh yeh, the Goodes egg hasn't hatched yet either ;)

Dam, based on the results so far I should've done Giles to Jacobs instead of Getting Goodes in and making Dusty bench cover.. ::) Was obvious getting Jacobs was better, but thought of playing Martin as Emergency for D7 vs an opponent with Martin as D6 + rookie would be nice with the carnage... Also saved a donut I think.

Hopefully Goodes comes back more strongly :)

Sad thread imo, you have ruled out Goodes after 20minutes......

He'll be fine, plus if you didn't trade, who's your benchie that scored 100?

Get a grip mate, and stop clogging the board with useless crap, after the game, sure, but during it.... ::)

Pretty sure the section i've posted in regards players and trades in DT. I didn't write Goodes off at all - what I've done is use a bit of hyperbole by saying 'at this rate Dusty is a shoe in', just to highlight the slow start Goodes is having - which by the way hasn't gotten much better so far.

As far as when you think I'm allowed to speculate on a player? I'll reserve my right to post at whatever point in a game I like. Maybe you should get a grip on your mouse and use the couple of extra kilojoules and scroll past my post if you don't like it.

The thread is entitled "Starting to regret..." - that includes last week's 71 when Tom Couch scored 70 from my bench. 1 week later, deep in the 4th, Goodes is on a grand total of 45. Champion player or not, they are subpar numbers. In any case I'm stuck with him for the year, so hopefully he stays true to career form and has a strong finish for the year. But right now? Not the flashest trade of the year.

Are you starting to understand yet?

This should've been the first post of your thread. ;) People making mid-game threads is extremely annyoing and board-clogging, specially when they turn it on in the 2nd half.

And yes, to add to the actual point of the thread, doing Franklin >> Goodes doesn't look to great, especially if you are after league wins.

And yet there were four or so other replies to it, generating conversation like threads are supposed to. Long and short of it mate is that you're not a moderator, so next time just skip the thread altogether. Or you can extend you argument further, 'clogging up the board' more in the process :o
