Had a seminar today at school on why you shouldn't drink and the guy goes "who here has drunk at a party before?" - teachers switched on straight away and scoured the room for any hands but nobody put their hand up hahahahaha ::)

One of my mates who went to a different school told me that once they had one of those seminars but the teachers weren't allowed in, so everyone was honest etc...

I wish our teachers did that, instead of invading our privacy all the time ....

Well normally I don't drink at parties, but there was this one party I was at and I was smoking a joint w/ some mates, and then like at first I thought I wouldn't have a drink, but once I was high getting drunk just seemed like the logical thing to do. Therefore I had like 10-15 beers that night.

Imagine the teacher's reaction ;D

nup but there were prees and some more already at the party house and the night didn't end too well for a few people   ;)

An alcohol free party wouldnt be such a bad thing, trust me.

Im 24 and have just been told that for the next 6-12 months I cant drink alcohol, soft drink, milk, nothing but boiled tap water.
Cant eat fatty foods, cook with oil, have 100 foods to steer clear clear of..

The reason? My liver is badly damaged from drinking.

I love a beer and haven't heard of an alcohol free party since I was about 15. I Have been on the drink from about 16 years old till just recently, binge drinking every weekend and occasionally during the week.
I Noticed I was always so tired and my hangovers had been getting unbearable and always had an aching pain down my right side and had an ultrasound and some blood tests done and they basically said that my liver isn't coping and its damaged and that im lucky it didnt go on much longer or I would have needed a transplant.

Luckily the liver heals itself so I dont have to nurse it this way forever, but ill definitely be a bit smarter in the future. Got a long summer of alcohol free parties coming up this year (for me anyway) so I better get used to it.

On the bright side Ive been off the sauce and onto the healthy eating for a month and I feel a million bucks already. Starting to see some ab definition come back which is nice to ;)

Sorry to hear mate... I am hardly a drinker let alone a binge drinker, but yeah that really does put things into perspective

this happened to a mate of mine.

well it was slightly different, turned out he had glandular and had been drinking... but flowered his liver and had to stay off it for 6 months.
