OK, so it's a tough decision I have to make this week and every week from now on (unless there is an injury/withdrawal to any of my forwards or mids), which one goes to the bench? My plan all along had been to get my last premium forward last week (Roughy) and by now Zorko would have started to slow down and it would be an easy choice to use him as F8/M7 cover, but he is absolutely gunning it. So I need your help on which one goes to the bench! As I said I will need help every week so instead of making a new thread I will just update the poll.

My forward line consists of:
Pavlich, Chapman, Sidebottom, Dangerfield, Goodes, Roughead, Martin, Zorko (and Elton on the bench)

So one of those players listed (excluding Elton) need to be benched. Which one?

Planning to match as many of my opposition's players as I can as I beat him around the ground. Less PODs the better.

Pavlich vs Melbourne - May not even play after being out last week but he's named and I think I should start him.
Chapman vs Sydney - My pick for the bench at the moment, playing deep forward and struggling tbh.
Sidebottom vs Essendon - In pretty good form and should do well against the Dons.
Stevie J vs Sydney - Opponent has him, he's safe.
Goodes vs Geelong - Same as Stevie J.
Roughead vs West Coast - Same as Goodes and Stevie J.
Martin vs Port - Benched him last week but got him 137 due to Pav pulling out.
Zorko vs Dogs - Went huge last week and don't see why he can't again. Opponent has him as well.

So basically it's between Pav, Sidey, Chappy and Martin. At the moment it's Chappy, thoughts?

Tough Choice!!! I'd bench Dangerfield.  Can score big, but has been a bit off the pace lately, and were rumours going around about carrying an injury.

I'm leaning towards Danger as well. Although a vote (the only at this stage :P) says Goodes and they have a fair point. Danger did get 110 last week to Goodes' 75. :-\

Sidey has been suffering lately aswell
This. Sidey and Danger have slowed down. Having Beams,Swan,Pendles and Thomas all playing at same time is affevting his scores. I rank ur forwards this round  - Pav,Martin,Zorko,Chappy,Goodes,Roughy,Danger,Sidey. DO NOT bench the first 3.

I've got Sidey on the bench at the moment, but not too convinced about Goodes either :-\

Stuck with Sidey. Thanks for your help everyone, here's hoping he doesn't pull out a 130!

Chappy struggling :-\

Alright everyone, round 18! Sidebottom last week was a failure  :-\ See the top post for what I think then vote vote vote!

If Chappy is stuck deep forward again with SJ in the guts I'd bench him. Or Martin. Martin has failed to live up to the hype ALL SEASON. He has had so many chances to repay the faith and even with a decent game and 2 goals last week still only got 80 odd. So glad I steered clear.

If Buddy misses vs my bad form Bombers then Roughy should score well rucking and kicking goals.

Zorko is just a gun and too hard to bench ATM.

Pavlich is a MUST

Danger and Sidey also hard to leave out.

Goodes is so hard to gauge. Usually does stuff all vs lowly teams - however he could play himself into form. He's a star but scores are worrying of late.

I feel for u mate. That's the drawback of having depth. I'm bringing in a floating FWD/MID this round or next and this is exactly the choice I am dreading having to make.

dustin.

danger seems to thrive against contested ball teams (i think anyway)

Haha fever  ;D

Thanks guys, yeah think it's really between Martin, Goodes and Chappy, and Goodes should be safe.

Like you said ubeaut, Martin has struggled and being at the game last week I was looking forward to coming home and seeing him with a 100+ next to his name, so was a bit shocked when he only managed 80 odd. If Chappy plays deep forward I'll bench him, but it's hard to tell whether he will or not! If he plays in the guts and pinch hits in the forward line he should go big, hence why I'll bench Dusty. For now...someone convince me!

Have you considered downgrading one of your forward premos? I would consider it if you have upgrades to make elsewhere..

With 2 trades left? No. My team is finished.
