This would see me cop a -4 this week and leave my side looking like.

Bale, Mata, Ben Arfa, Pienaar, Wilshere

Jelavic, Ba, Berba/Fletcher

And half a mill in the bank. Are there more pressing issues? Is this a decent team at this stage of the comp?

wow that is an awesome team, but I would do Cazorla to Wilshere next week so you don't cop the -4, and also so Wilshere gets a bit of match fitness back. After next week he'll be ready to start pumping some big scores

Only problem with Cazorla to Wlshere being done next week is that is the trade tha raises all my finds for my other two upgrades :P
I do agree though that Wilshere might need another week or two to properly asses him. Cabaye is another decent option.

TRADES THIS WEEK - to cop -8

Cazorla to Mata - DONE
Kacaniklic to Britton - gives me a further 0.4 and Britton is reliable as a bench player (even though he gets 2 each week)
Demel to Baird - another bench player, Baird is playing as a midfielder but listed as a defender and doing well


TRADES NEXT WEEK - to cop -4

Lambert to Crouch - Gives me three front men who are really consistent and big names in the Premier League
Reid to Shawcross - 4th choice defender but Stoke have an easy draw so could get some good points here

POSSIBLE TRADE

Michu to Wilshere - Wilshere is a jet and starting to get back into form, I reckon in a few weeks he will be a great buy

I really like the master plan.

Not a massive fan of Crouch though as whilst Stoke do have a lovely run it is the other end of the pitch that I would be investing in ;)
In saying that though you're right. He is a big name and scores some vitally important goals. There a far worse options for that price ;)

Im very happy with my midfield and forward line but my backline and keeper apart from baines are really letting my team down
