Just a heads up guys, keep you eyes on James Milner.

Just saw him play what was in my eyes his best game in a sky blue shirt thus far.

One of my favourite players to watch in the premier league who just gets the job done week-in, week-out. He scored a huge 184 points in 09/10 with Aston Villa so we know he has the scoring capabilities to justify a spot in our teams. Priced at just 6.1 he could be a bargain if he can hold his spot in the City midfield alongside Yaya Toure (in my opinion the best midfielder in the premier league) as his only competition for that second central midfield role are Rodwell, Barry and Garcia. Rodwell's made some very costly mistakes for City already, Garcia is under an injury cloud and Barry, while a very good player, lacks the attacking edge that Milner provides.

While he won't play the attacking midfield role he did with Aston Villa, a role occupied by Silva, Nasri and, to a lesser extent, Sinclair, he should be able to establish a foothold in the City midfield.

As for his scoring ability in the centre of midfield, he should be able to pick up plenty of clean sheets and bonus points and chip in with the occasional assist and goal.

My advice: Just watch his minutes and form over the following weeks and if he maintains form and gets decent playing time take a serious look at him, at least for a bench spot.

Things are looking up.. Assists to Pienaar and Ivanovic; Torres doing beautifully as Cptn!! A little annoyed that Barnett sitting last on my bench had a hand in that Norwich goal though lol

I was just thinking that! Swansalona have gone from world beaters to relegation battlers. Williams must go now! As it stands at half time he has netted me 2 pts from his last 405 minutes of football!
