Manchester City have just signed Scott Sinclair... should I downgrade him to Dyer or Michu (or just keep him) ? With Sinclair gone that should allow Dyer to do even better

Geez... If i was Sinclair i would have been very hesitant to sign. He'll bench most of the time, especially with Rodwell also added to the Man City team.

Michu for me Tom.
Yeah but he'll be getting paid at least twice as much than he was at Swansea.

Also are you sure he has signed yet. Last I heard was they had made a bid for him...

Yeah i guess. Still i'd much prefer to be getting game time and have a chance of being seen by the English national team, instead of being stuck next to Nasri on City's bench.  ;D

yeah I just saw on a website that said "Scott Sinclair will join Manchester City after Man City lodged a 5 million Euro bid to Swansea" or something like that

Not 100% certain but if it is true I wanna get Michu ASAP before he rises in price. Sinclair looks like a very good scorer having said that, but if he's gone to Man City then he is gone from my team

Thinking of using my WC but not completely sure who to bring in…

My Team

Friedel (Federici)
Lescott, Hangeland, Shawcross (Clyne, Clark)
Bale, Hazard, Yaya, Ramires (Guthrie)
Torres, Tevez, Pog
- 2.5m in the bank

At the moment Im thinking:
Torres --> Petric
Ramires --> Michu
Guthrie --> Ben Arfa
Clyne --> Ivanovic
*With 1.9 still in the bank.

Any other thoughts on who I should trade out/bring in?

my team at the moment

Foster   (Ruddy)
Evra   Kompany   Shawcross   Simpson   (Figueroa)
Y.Toure   Hazard   Cazorla   Sinclair   (Guthrie)
Aguero   Graham    (Lambert)

TRADE PLANS

Sinclair ---> Michu
Guthrie ---> Dyer
Aguero ---> Adebayor (what are your thoughts on that trade? worthwhile or is it a waste?)

0.8 million in the bank after that, team would then be:

Foster   (Ruddy)
Evra   Kompany   Simpson   (Shawcross, Figueroa)
Y.Toure   Hazard   Cazorla   Michu   Dyer
Adebayor   Lambert   (Graham)

Blehhh.... To WC or not to WC... I think not.

I like Adebayor ftr Tom :) Very nice looking trades there too Adamant!

Just remember if you do 3-4 trades without using your wildcard you're 8 or 12 points down already and your team hasn't improved significantly, while using your wc makes your team as good as it can be while not losing any ground.

that's what I was thinking... I'm just wondering if I'm using a wildcard too early that's all

Will Aguero drop in price while he is on the sidelines? Cos if he doesn't then I'll go Aguero to Adebayor next week via Free Transfer

Hahah yeah sorry Daz :P Missed your post, but I reckon Adebayor will be good again this year for Spurs :)

I reckon AVB will give a lot of chances to Defoe though so that could be an issue with game time for Ade ;)

Maybe... But surely that won't last long. And surely AVB saw how good Ade was for Spurs last season!?

Well this is what AVB said after their game on Saturday about Defoe...

"He always has this killer instinct. He scored in midweek for his country, scored for us during pre-season and again here," said Villas-Boas.

"He is showing that touch that we need up front. Jermain accepts that we are looking for one more striker because the team is in need of that, but when we have them all together the quality of the player is tremendous.

"It is a different situation for him now. I have nothing to do with anything that happened in the past. He is our striker, is playing extremely well, is full of confidence and has been deadly in front of goal."

well damn i have no idea what to do with aguero then
not sold on tevez is a complte tossbag

CrowsFan

Tevez is a douche yes, but without Aguero he is guaranteed time, and has played very well this preseason. Best option really in my opinion ;)
