Ahhhhhh, this midfield is doing my head in!!

Was happy with Carzola and Hazard but suddenly I changed to Valencia and Mata...

I am thinking that Valencia is nearing a lock with his versatility and position... But Uniteds start kinda sucks.

Mata or Hazard... Mata is coming off euros and olympics (albeit a short campaign) but Hazard is so promising...

Carzola played a Fabregas-like role against Koln...

Hmmm, after that little spiel I think I'll go with Mata and Carzola :P

here is my updated team, what are your thoughts ?

Foster (Ruddy)
Evra, Kompany, Shawcross, Simpson (Figueroa)
Yaya Toure, Cazorla, Hazard, Sinclair (Britton)
Aguero, Graham (Lambert)

Can either go with Morison and Bale OR Santi Cazorla and Lambert... any ideas? Thanks a lot lads

elephants

Santi and Lambert I reckon Tommy, good team apart from that :)

Who to start? My unique in Ciaran Clark against West Ham or Danny Graham against QPR?

thanks mate !

Who is Ciaran Clark from?
I'm no expert but Graham looks good so he'd get the nod for me

elephants

Ciaran Clark is from Aston Villa.

With Dunne injured, Warnock AWOL and Collins sold I think this guy could start at CB tomorrow :)

Tominator

good luck to you but you seem more experienced than me so I'll let you decide hahaha

Should I grab Danny Guthrie from Reading or Leon Britton from Swansea for my MID bench spot?

As a Villa fan, I really hope he does play. Looks really promising, but not sure if our defence will hold up with so many new guys.

Here's my team btw:

Vorm (Cerny)
Baines, Lescott, Vlaar (Clyne, Barnett)
Hazard, Valencia, Yaya, Bale (Guthrie)
Aguero, Lambert, Graham

Someone else with Vlaar  :D

I think Aston Villa could get a lot of clean sheets early, great pick imo. So he will definitely start in your opinion ML?

A lot seem to be choosing between the two. I've gone for Britton, as i dont want too many players from GW3 as i wont be able to trade them all out in time.

Nice team KK.

The backlines good, although imo Baines seems a little over priced. Good bench options as well.

Krul a great choice, one of my favourite keepers. Federici of course a good backup.

Great mids, havent seen Bale in too many teamsso could be a bit of a unique.

Podolski is a good pick imo, as he seems to be on spot kick duties as well for Arsenal.

Start Pogsy i think.

Good choice in Vorm, Swansea on the up and he performed admirably last season. Personally i dont like Cerny as a pick though even as backup.

As i've mentioned personal preference is that i think Baines is overpriced a little, however Lescott and Vlaar both great picks.

Good mids, all should score quite highly. Yaya seems a must.

Once again good forwards Graham in very good pre-season form.

So, not much time left before lockout.

Here's my team as of now.

Cech (VC) (Jaaskelainen)

Shawcross, Williams, Vlaar (Fox, Fabio)

Hazard (C), Kagawa, Yaya, Sigurdsson (Britton)

Podolski, Aguero, Pogrebnyak

Pretty happy with it. A little uncertain on Williams and Hazard though. Happy with my uniques in Vlaar and Sigurdsson.

Adamant

Yaya Toure + 2.0
OR
Silva

Thinking Silva may be eased into action so leaning towards Yaya...
