One team I reckon will be better in Swansea, maybe pushing for top 10 and european qualification through the cups. They've lost a good manager but got another good one in his place, and also have a season of top flight experience under their belts.

This is my first shot at EPL fantasy and I dont know that many players did some research and this is the team I could come up with. Happy for any comments especially critical ones.

That's a good team Holz, unsure about Reither (never heard of him tbh) and Podolski (unless RVP goes to United I don't see him being a starter for every match).

Either I completely stole from Matty. Back from Fulham, looked at him abit and looks like he could score decently for his price. I'm not happy with podolski and yaya toure. Thinking of downgrading one abit and slightly upgrading the other. Can't work it out though.

Toure is a star. Was pretty much my first picked midfielder because he will play every game and always chips in with a goal. I'm having second thoughts on Ramires myself. I was also going to bring in Lukaku because of his loan move to WBA but then I saw his crazy price of 6.5. How is he worth 6.5?! I was thinking he would be a 5.5. :-\

Toure is a star, I'd be completely happy with him in my side.

And Lukaku is so expensive because he's from a big club. If the exact same player of the same skillset was at something like Wigan and was loaned to Brom he'd be 4.5 or 5.0. Biggest bias bullshower this game is.

Good team MTTY, said this before tho I don't believe Podolski will play enough for his pricetag, unless RVP leaves. He'll be third choice striker behind RVP and Giroud at Arsenal atm and for just 1mil more you can get Cisse.

Cheers Jukesy. Yeah, i am only going to be picking Podolski if RVP leaves. I would go straight for Giroud but i feel Podolski will get more assists/goals than Giroud if both start.

The prices should be based on last year's scores, not reputation.

I think Podolski will play wider to be honest. He has been used out on the left many times before, and he's decent there. He is versatile though, so whether that's a good thing or not remains to be seen.

Van Der Vaart, Mata, Dempsey, Dyer; (Whitehead)
Rooney, Graham, Van Persie

In brackets are bench. Jaaskleinen / Henderson will probably change, but would need to make adjustments elsewhere. I only select #1 and #2 Keepers from the same team as a pair. I don't see the point of having two #1 Keepers from different teams. Jaaskleinen / Henderson is the cheapest GKP combination at 8.5.

All ideas welcome.

Here we are at Half Time of the community shield and the one.. the only FERNANDO TORRES has linked up masterfully with Ramires and Hazard.

Anyone thinking twice now?

Double Game Week first up and a world class striker sitting there @ 10mill...

I went Aguero over Torres. I think Torres will be much better this season, but Aguero is a star. After watching the CS, I'm thinking Tevez might be a good pick up. I haven't looked at his price, but if he plays most games he will go close to winning top scorer.
