Can pick 2 of Shawcross,Coloccini,Hangland and Williams, opinions?

My current side:

Krul (Begovic)
Baines,Kompany,Williams(Coloccini,Barnett)
Valencia,Bale,S.Davis,Hazard(Gunthie)ar
Pogrebynyak,Holt,Aguero

1.0 left in the bank.

Koop, I'd definitely go hangeland, and probably shawcross out of the rest ;)

Team name: Reigning Champions (tradition in league with mates that the winner has to name their team the reigning champions)

GK: Krul (Jaaskelainen)

Def: Vertonghen, R Taylor, Shawcross (Tomkins, Barnett)

Mid: Cabaye, Hazard (C), Guthrie, Silva (Michu) - Guthrie on field ahead of Michu because of DGW first up.

Fwd: Torres, Rooney (VC), Pogrebnyak.

Also want to hear everyone's thoughts on Tevez for this season, easily in the top 5, if not top 3, strikers in the EPL if fit (and not having a sook) who showed what he is capable of by scoring a hat trick in his first game back for city in the debacle that last season became for him.  Has had a good pre-season, is in City's best 11 and is ready to explode in my opinion, just don't have the balls to pick him over Rooney.

If they dont start, then surely Tevez and Aguero would get starts from the get go. Plus potentially Nasri, until they are ready to start for ManC.

The source for that article is tribalfootball.com, perhaps the most unreliable soccer website in the world.

But still, forgot about Balotelli and Dzeko as well who will both be demanding game time. Probably best to stay away from Man City forwards (with the exception of Silva and Kun Aguero)

Goal.com is way more unreliable then tribalfootball, although most pure-internet football sites are unreliable.

both Goal.com and tribalfootball yes are based just on soccer. therefore their main aim is to deliver soccer news.
That means they have a lot of space and time of fill; so along with the main story "Ibrahimovic completes switch" they still have to provide the viewers with other things to read, therefore rumours " 'I have visited White Hart Lane' says Messi. is this the biggest transfer of the decade?" yes that is all bullshower, but it provides the readers with something to read. and of course they wouldn't make up a quote. they just hear things and put out hypothesis.

Jukes

Goal.coms 50 best players in the world is so much bullshower; I'll count down 50 to 1 in terms of bollocks;

Kagawa 44th despite being Bundesliga player of the year.
Giroud 41st despite being Ligue 1 player of the year.
Rooney 40th because seriously flower LOGIC.
Ramires at 25th...he isn't even Chelsea's best midfielder...
RVP at 15th because apparantly single-handedly earning your team Champions League football with 44 goals in 57 games is not good enough.
Balotelli is 13th because being a bench-warmer is such a great role.

Here's the bit that pisses me off most...Didier Drogba number 6!?!?!??! Maybe in his 2005 heyday, but he did almost nothing for Chelsea last season, 15 goals in 37 games or something.

Imo Kagawa and Giroud should be top 20, Rooney top 5 EASILY (as seen by being top pick in the APL draft), RVP also top 5, Balotelli about 40th due to his euros, Drogba not even top 50.

Goal is the worst football site on the net...

elephants

You have to take into account the number of times Droggles came on a sub for FernanDON'T SCORREs Fernando Torres.

Also he won us the FA cup <3

Ramires' chip vs Barca was pure class. He will be a gun one day, still developing and needs to nail down a spot - be that in the pivot or on the wing.

/\ alright team, too much mid-price mayhem imo though and not enough super guns. My team has 4 players more expensive then your most expensive player haha. Your team has great depth obviously but I'd prefer something like Guthrie and Rooney then Larsson and Ba.

A slight rework..any suggestions?

Krul  ( Cerny )

Vertonghen, Vermaelen, Hangeland   ( Williams, Barnett )

Cabaye, Van der Vaart, Hazard, Kagawa  ( Guthrie )

Rooney, Ba, Pogrebnyak

Not 1c left over..is this an issue?

I like to keep some in reserve just in case.  I currently have 2.0 left over, so it means if one of my risks doesn't pay off I should be able to afford a quality replacement if I need to trade.  Here's my squad, which I'm fairly happy with for now.

Jukes

I'm not letting any money go to waste, not like we'll be doing much upgrade/downgrade stuff 99% of all trades are sideways.

Yeah I like the new team T-Dog.

@Chelskiman I'd prefer Krul over Szczesny due to Arsenal's leaky defence, strong team otherwise.

I don't think Newcastle will be as good as they were last year.  Still decent, but I reckon they will let a few more goals in.  I've gone for the alternating keeper tactic, so I won't be playing Szczesny every week.  Stoke are always good for clean sheets, especially at home, so when they have an easy game I'll be playing Begovic.  Looking at Swansea's start I am tempted to drop Szczesny for Vorm though.  Both are priced the same but Swansea's opening eight games are QPR (A), West Ham (H), Sunderland (H), Villa (A), Everton (H), Stoke (A), Reading (H) and Wigan (H).  That's an awesome start, and there should be a lot of clean sheets there.  In fact, I've just talked myself into it, lol.

Jukes

Reckon Newcastle will be better; they'll have Cisse all season and if Ba is also firing, they have the best strike-force in the league, maybe edged by Rooney-RVP is he joins.

Chelskiman

I'm still not convinced.  Cisse was in immense form late last year, but Newcastle also had that element of surprise.  I think they'll get the second season blues and slip down the table a bit.  Both are quality players, I agree, but teams now know what they're about.  They'll finish in the top half of the table imo, which is still a good finish for them, but I can't see them getting another European spot, and they certainly won't finish as high as what they did last year.  Chelsea have improved, Liverpool have a new manager, Everton are always there or there abouts, so I do think they will find it harder this year.  It's just my opinion though and they could do something crazy and finish 4th, lol.
