here is my team atm

GK: Howard, Cerny

FWD: Rooney, Torres, Crouch

Hey Daz,

Personally not a fan of Walters, Britton or Crouch.

I think there are better options out there. I also I'm not sold on Barnett or Stam. I think that blokes like Cuellar, Fonte, Demel, Tomkins have better Job Security and probably a greater GOAL THREAT!

I would look at turning Crouch into either Pogrebnyak (5), Graham (6) or Petric (6). Stoke's early fixture makes for tough viewing if I remember correctly. Yep, after just looking then they have Chelsea, City and Arsenal in the first 6 gameweeks.

I think that Mark Noble, Shaun Maloney or Danny Guthrie are all better options than Walters or Britton :)

Looks pretty good other than that! Again, Shawcross has a tough early fixture but admittedly this scoring system does reward him handsomely.

Overall, not a bad team! Just some of the subs might need a little re think.

Okay, finally settled on this team. Have shirked away from my cheap GK combo again with doubts cast over Begovic's JS...

..............Cech............ (Green)

Cashley...Lescott...Hangeland... (Cuellar and Jenkinson)

Bale...Sinclair...Michu...Pienaar... (Guthrie)

Aguero.....Torres.....Petric

With 0.5 mill in the kitty.

Thoughts?

hey Ele thanks for the help mate especially with the benches like i said i had never heard of them so didn't know who to pick so will look at bringing in some you mentioned instead

and crouch i do know him and can be good but i didn't realize they start with that hard fixture i will trade him out for someone else

might sneak him back in later in the season if he doing well when his draw gets easier if his doing good that is

elephants

No worries mate.

The beauty of the Premier League is that everyone plays everyone twice. This is sweet because teams like Liverpool will have lovely fixtures later in the season when teams like Chelsea and Spurs start to get tougher!

Adamant

Begovic (Federici)

Lescott, Hangeland, Shawcross (McCartney, Demel)

Bale, Hazard, Kagawa, Noble (Guthrie)

Aguero, Torres, Pogrebnyak

3mill in the bank to go Torres > Rooney GW2/3

Thoughts?

Jukes

For those who haven't joined, the league code for my FF league is 31459-15161.

Looks a good team Adamant, question marks over your defence reserves (I'd reccomend Barnett over them) and goalkeepers, solid team otherwise and good plan for GW2 but remember trades cost points.

KoopKicka

Final team unless something drastic happens:

Krul
Baines,Shawcross,Kompany
Bale,Valencia,Hazard,S.Davis
Aguero,Pogrebnyak,Holt

Bench Ruddy,Coloccini,Gunthrie,Fox

A pretty spot on team, the only thing is because you have decked out your fwds and only have 1 premium midfielder, yet starting 4, you have to make sure those are spot on.
I also tend to like having as close to set and forget defence line as possible.

Haha yeah cheers mate. From what I gather the money is best spent in the attacking part of he pitch. I agree that my mids are weak-ish but I'm happy with my mid-price selections at this early stage. Thanks mate :)
