>Pre-season
He's barely first team let alone will start every game. He's 34- RDM will look to start him in about 60% of games and have him sub for the rest when he's not injured. The emergence of other mids at Chelsea will surely overtake him.

And who'd he score against in those pre season matches? MLS all-stars (lol), and Brighton (lol) both were losses (lololol). He's only scored twice?

Holz

Is anyone worried about degea? My friend said fergie sometimes drops him if he is in bad form. I had to drop cech to him so i could turn ba into podolski.

BoredSaint

Everyone talking about Hazard not being physical enough..

Isn't that what everyone said about David Silva when he moved to Man City.. And look how he's turned out

@PowerBug:
Too much money spent on the keepers definitely. Also missing a mid. Fix that then work from there.

@gossiboy:
Nicely set out team. I am not sure on Kagawa simply, despite all the debates, I just don’t trust him yet; although I may be proven wrong soon. Never heard of Tomkins, although not doubting you.

@essendon2:
I’d swap out Sczenzny or Vermaelan for someone else, because it’s quite risky having two people from the same team relying on clean sheets. Zabaleta may have to fight for his spot or also risk getting rotated. I’d trade either one of Hazard or Lampard for a non-Chelsea player. Dibril Cisse isn’t bad, but isn’t great either. There are others who have fewer people to compete with goals.

@Fletch74:
Pretty solid team, although Song looks like he will be moving to Barca; that said he also gets injured and doesn’t play very attacking. I think you also have quite some money on the bench, which you could use to upgrade Holt a little better if you span it out right.

@Tominator:
You have a lot of mid-range players, but not enough stars. I would say downgrade Graham, Sinclair and Assoue Ekotto and upgrade Walters and Holt; just an idea to get more certain firepower.

@Jukes:
Quite a solid team, although which Cisse? And I still am hesitant on Kagawa. I am not buying into the hype just yet.

@Chelskiman:
Love the analysis! Very good all round, but if you are going the rotating keepers, I would consider Krul or Sczenzy or someone else over Begovic, who you have more certainty over their first eleven keeper. Also downgrading Ramires could help upgrade Gallas or Ferdinand to just one more sure firepower defender.

@KoopKicka:
I like Baines. Hopefully Lescott has his position locked with only 3 defenders at City, but he might get rotated. Not sure on Ramires, but could be worth a punt. Podolski is worth looking at now that RVP is gone. It’s just whether you know if he will adapt or just play to the EPL level like you hope he will.

@Adamant:
Pretty solid team all round. Just as mentioned before, currently it is not so certain about Lescott’s position in the starting 11, and that you have both Ramires and Hazard.

@MTTY:
Interesting team. Hopefully Vlars goes well for your sake. Only thing is that your whole forward line really is a risk. Although there is a chance that both Podolski and Tevez could fire, there is still the possibility where they could both fail. I would rather trying to fit in Torres, Suarez or the bigger fwd if you can instead of Tevez.

@Braddles10:
Go over all your cheaper guys; check if they will play and score anything for you to provide cover. Ivanovic may get rotated, as with most other Chelsea defenders. Also, if you downgrade Defoe, you can beafen up your midfield by upgrading Taarabt.

@MrSmith:
Pretty solid team for a first timer. Although Clichy might get rotated, and since you already have good defenders, you could super downgrade him to someone really cheap then upgrade one or two of Kagawa or Allen.

@Holzman:
Green probably a big no no. If you are rotating keepers, Vorm, Krul, Friedel, Howard, Foster, Sczezny, Al-Habsi, Schwarzer is the way to go. Rest is all pretty solid, although if you find Ba not starting the season, consider downgrading Evra or Cole to help upgrade Ba If needs be.

@CrowsFan:
I like it all, although I will wonder where all the money went. I still have my doubts on Kagawa, but I can’t argue with a Man U supporter. I would also consider slightly downgrading Pieener or Michu to maybe find a better forward instead of Bent. Bent could pay off, but from the start of the season, I like certainties.

Now if you don’t mind, I would like some people to rate my team as well. I have re-thought about it and changed it quite a bit recently:

De Gea
Baines, Shawcross, Coloccini
Silva, Mata (C), Dempsey, Walters
Aguero (V), Lukaku, Lambert
(Cerny, Harte, Britton, Clyne)

I’ve gone for a solid goal keeper, a cheap but effective defence, with my faith going on Baines, a stacked, safe and solid midfield, and a star, a cheapie, and an X-Factor (Lukaku) : At 6.5 I couldn’t refuse him and he was my last forward I needed to pick. My bench should be fine too. Mata captain with the double. Overall I think I have enough points in the bag for a solid gameweek.

Hey Luigi,

For me i can see De Gea being rotated a little with Lindegaard, not as much as last year but still. So really just personal preference i guess.

Shawcross and Coloccini great solid buys, Harte i dont know much about but he is just a backup. Personally i think Baines is a little over priced this year.

Mids look solid although i'm a little iffy with Walters, i think there may be some better options. Like Britton as a back-up, should be solid for Swansea again this season.

And great forwards, Lukaku has shown pretty decent pre-season form and could fire at West Brom, Aguero an obvious choice and Lambert one of the better Championship players from last year.

I will have a think about both De Gea and Walters. Cech and Sinclair/Moses/Cabaye/Larrson/Dyer/Allen/Etherington/Ramsay/Ramires/Pienaar would be my other options too.

Thanks heaps MTTY.
