^ and Pienaar slots a goal and either Taylor keeps a clean sheet or Steven Fletcher scores... Don't think both can happen..
Taylor could play 60 minutes get the clean sheet then get subbed, then Fletcher scores ;)

I love it!
Although, the only reason you'd generally sub a centr half is through injury so... :P maybe Taylor AND Fletcher will score?

Don't worry KK. I slipped from 45k to 110k last week. Just shows how tight all these rankings are!?

Can't believe I didn't make Mata captain... I support Chelsea as well.. jdhsidbsksbsjsbsjsb.

I traded Mata out for Pienaar round 3 :-[

Yeah, hopefully Ba can whip out another couple of goals, put him as captain as I didnt have the guts to keep it on Hazard, a Clean sheet plus a goal and a Pienaar goal would be nice too :)

Yeah its ridculous, I slipped to  300k 3 weeks ago and scored 75 the next week, when par was 55 and shot up over 220k rankings! :o, its very very tight.

Exact same for me mate, I played my wildcard this week though and traded Yaya to Mata ;D

Breaking News!!!
The APL team YNWA Warriors will most likely be looking for a new manager this weekend, if as predicted the current coach MTTY does not submit a team lineup. That will have been 3 weeks in a row he has not submitted a team, which constitutes that he will be sacked.

For all those interested in taking over this team in a very enjoyable competition let me know by PM, and if he doesn't submit a team I'll let you know if you have got the job on Saturday/Sunday :)

The YNWA Warriors squad is below...
GK: Petr Cech, Hugo Lloris
DEF: Ashley Cole, Gael Clichy, Fabricio Coloccini, Stephane Mbia,  Cesar Azpilicueta
MID: Garth Bale, Ashley Young, Nuri Sahin, Adam Lallana, Robert Snodgrass
FWD: Lukas Podolski, Olivier Giroud, Markus Rosenberg

It's a strong squad, but a few changes need to be made to make it competitive :)

has the wildcard been used?

CrowsFan

There is no wildcard. This is a draft game so a player can only be on one team...

Thinking of trading Kieran Gibbs to John Arne Riise, thoughts?

Santi Cazorla to Juan Mata looks pretty tempting too, are those trades (one, both, or neither) worth it? Thanks

Ayup everyone,

Firstly I'll shake my head... Terrible week again. My Pienaar/Fellaini double up has turned out a terrible move over the past fortnight.. anyway..

Does anyone know why there were no price changes Saturday afternoon? They occur at the same time every day, but for some mysterious reason nothing changed Saturday, and all the price changes were held over until Sunday.

Just reading over some of the posts above as everyone attempts to sort through the carnage, I'll put this out again for those who have/want to make the time to utilise it.

http://crackthecode.fiso.co.uk/home.html

I saw somewhere above that there was a trade of Pienaar out before he drops too much. I have worked a trick out to predict when price changes will happen. This tool is perfect for that.

Using Pienaar as an example... he hasn't dropped yet.... If you go to the NTI button and click it, it sorts by the negative NTI first, then click again it shows the positive NTI.

In Pienaars case at 07:00 he has -4308 NTI, that means approx -600 an hour. There are 123 hours until lockout so that's about 72,000 OUT between now and lockout. He needs to reach 77,842 before he drops, so predictably he will not drop until Friday, maybe Saturday. Very approximate numbers, and you have to factor most trades are done while we are sleeping, and that there is generally a rush Friday/Saturday...Factoring those in you are best to up the 'Trades per Hour' to 700 and it still works out to be about Friday. (All changes occur at 13:30 AEST)

Last point is to also be mindful of the profit margin. If you got Pienaar when he was 6.5, and he is currently 7, no need to panic at all. You can absorb the next price drop wiothout impacting how much $$ you have to spend. In my case I got him at 6.6 and he is now 7, so I must trade before he drops if I want to retain the .2 profit.

Nuts and bolts are you don't need to panic trade....You have until late in the week. Just remember to keep an eye on your targets that they aren't going to go up before you make the trade and leave you short on $$ to make the trade; and you never know, your target may get an injury mid-week in the case of CL players/Internationals, or something on the training track!  :o

Now.... If someone could just help me with a mid under 6.9 I should target to replace Pienaar it would be appreciated. I traded Fellaini Sunday morning for Lennon, and have now run out of ideas....

CrowsFan

Thought of picking up Nolan? Don't know how much he costs though so may be more than 6.9 by now...

I did; hes at 6.4. Unfortunately I spent 10 minutes on him before realizing I all ready have Jaas, Henderson, Demel... So no more Hammers   ::)

CrowsFan

Damn that's a lot of Hammers! :o

Have you got Sterling? He's very cheap and seems to have locked his place in to the starting lineup for Liverpool.

Holz

with the internationals i forgot about my team, was a terrible week for me with 2 guys not playing on the field and none of my bench playing.

I dropped Aguero to Tevez to go Fellaini to Mata.

IM liking my Hazard, Mata, Bale, Yaya, Santi Carola midfield.
