AFL Players you personally know

Was an interesting thread on here today where someone got a bit of 'inside running' on a player's fitness because they went to the same cafe. Most folks will have a story or two about players they are connected with so post them up!

Players I know:

Kosi - Good mate, played junior footy together at Brocklesby, families are still close
Dan Cross - Went to school with my missus. Used to knock around with him and his brother a bit as kids.
Sammy Mitchell - Cousin of my best mate

Know the Morton family who have three footballing sons; Mitch (ex Eagle, Tiger and Swan), Cale (current Demon) and Jarryd (ex-Hawk). Also know a load of Claremont players, one of them is a teacher at my school.

The Matera`s Frank(coaches my sons footy team) and his brother-in-law(married to Carmel) is mates with my brother-in-law and my other half.
Also one of our mates is the umpire Luke Farmer`s brother.

i used to play footy with Matty White from the Tiges, was only under 10's and 11's but i think that still counts

we didn't need a coach, everyone knew what we should be doing.

2 - get in your positions for the centre bounce

i'm bored so i'm going to post anyway when i was a kid and my dad drove tow trucks went with him sometimes and had to give Nicky Winmar a lift somewhere don't remember much else lol

i drove cabs for 4 years had Jake Batchelor in my cab for 10 min was a nice bloke gave me a few dollars tip lol was kind of funny i go for Essendon it was a Saturday night at 10pm he was going home but he didn't know he was playing Essendon the next week lol
