London Royals Press Conference

Thanks for waiting ladies and gentleman.

As CEO of the London Royals I have to inform that after a couple of weeks of innuendos and uncertainty over Team selections which has been effecting our on field performances we have taken the step of dismissing our Head Coach Cookie Monster, We regret having to take this step but for the sake of our members and supporters it was a necessary step to take to ensure the club remains competitive.

I am pleased to announce that we have secured the services of the current assistant coach of the New Delhi Tigers Ringo to take over as head coach.  Ringo brings a fresh set of eyes and a fresh approach to the club. 

Ringo said that he will be monitoring performance over the concluding rounds prior to the trade period.  He made it quite clear that the club will be active during the trading period and will be particularly looking to bolster it's depth in the forwards and rucks.  He said there will be definite de-listings to enable depth to be bolstered. All trades will be considered during the period. Ringo believes the club can make finals next year with the right balance of players to be traded and draft picks.

The club has given Ringo permission to seek the services of an assistant coach if required and he said he will be considering options.

Congratulations to Ringo on being voted as the new coach of the Royals. I am proud to sign on as an assistant coach for the Royals and I believe we will become a side to be challenged with.
