How do I know? I just asked him.

Me - ' so no pies this week Buddy? '
Him - ' no mate, back for Geelong '

Thought I'd ask him because I read an article in the Herald Sun today where Cyril was quoted as saying Hawthorn wouldn't rush him back until late in the season or for finals.

before you ask, yes I see him and several other AFL players at my local cafe every morning.

dickitch

he shoulda replied with 'nah just coffee'

The Bomber

Should have asked how many he was going to kick and whether we should put our C on him...

dickitch

But in all seriousness he also said 'nah it's just a bit of tightness, i'll be fine' - He can say whatever he wants but surely it's up to the coach and specialists?

Buddy's just a machine, this is top news if he indeed returns next week with all the folks that got rid of him!

Next week the Hawks play the Bombers, so buddy will be out the 3 weeks they said he would.

The same specialists that played him against the Giants, and the same ones that can't work out what is wrong with Hodge....

I worry for Hawks players and the fear they might have if they get injured and having to go see their medical staff.

What cafe u go too?  :P

Good question.
It's in Brighton. NRoo comes in with Goddard, Buddy with Gibbo, Wellingham with Dawes amongst others. They're in there frequently. I once sat on a four seat communal table with Nroo, God and Eric Bana!! - Was trying so hard to just read my paper and pretend I didn't know who they were. I must have read the same paragraph 100 times!

Nice work.
I see a lot of the Hawk boys at a place called Stadium Cafe as it is situated in the Waverly Park complex which is where they train.
