Free Agency, who would you like to see join the roos.

The AFl did a little article on free agency and with Boomer and Firrito our only free agents and they are not going anywhere who should we try and add.

The article gave this suggestion for the roos

Potential targets: North has the salary cap room to make a play for an A-grade target and St Kilda midfielder Leigh Montagna would add class to its onball division, However, Montagna will be 29 next season and North might prefer to focus on Adelaide's Chris Knights and Hawk Clinton Young, 26 and 27 respectively next season. Both would add an extra dimension to North's kicking, while Young's outside run would also appeal.


I personally would like to see knights come to the roos, not sure where he would fit though. Another would be troy chaplin.

Two that I was interested in during trade week and with free agency I think it is becoming more and more plausible are Chaplin, like you said, and Clinton Young. Great kick and adds that outside class that we can be lacking at times.

Good player, but no thanks. If he can't break into Melbourne's midfield at the moment I doubt he can get into ours with Swallow, Wells, Ziebell, Bastinac, Greenwood, Cunnington etc etc and at times Atley, Boomer, Harper and MacMillan.

How about Broc Mclean RB, not a free agent but im sure he is on the trade table.

Probably. Good to see we are being proactive in chasing talent though!

Like I said, our midfield is fine IMO. But Boak would be a handy addition. Moloney and McLean I'm not too sure about.

I agree with holzman he will most likeley go to the cats :)
