Free Agency-who would you like to see in yellow and black next year?

So i pose the question to tigers supporters. Who would you like to see in the yellow and black next year?

My thoughts on who could be good recruits are:
C. Knights (ADE) - not getting much of a go this year, from melbourne so if he seeks to come home could be a handy addition to our small forward line up.

B. Goddard (STK) - who wouldn't? Would add some nice run and class to our backlines to aid Newman and co., and could even be a good rotation into the midfield with Lidsy! Only problem would be salary cap restrictions.

T. Chaplin (PA) - Another tall defender to add to our stocks. We all know what happened on saturday when Rance copped one and had to come off, so another classy defender back there would be sure to help!

J. Adcock (BL) - listed as a potential recruit for the tiges. Same reason as Goddard, just maybe not as classy but could be a bit cheaper as well.

So what do you guys think?? Feel free to add any other out-of-contract players that could be picked up by the mighty tiges!

i would forgot about adcock for now and look at a tall forward because we can't rely on riewoldt and right now certainly not on vickery, derickx and miller :P. i hope we can get a good tall forward target or even a quality 2nd ruck man that can play forward.

It'd be good if the AFL made trade engine like what the NBA have done.

I think we should put a hold on to the players we have and develop what weve got like Geelong did. Forget about other players, we have the nucleus for a good side, just needs development.

Tall defenders - Grimes, Rance, Griffiths, Moore.
Tall Fwds - Riewoldt, Vickery, Elton.
Get 100 games into all of these guys and it could be a premier defence/ forward line
Also remember Astbury and Post are very young and will hopefully develop into solid talls that can play either end.

your right with the backline when they all get atleast 100 games in them. but i think the forward line is a worry besides riewoldt we don't have anybody that we can really rely on. vickery and miller have much out of form.

Miller will retire, Vickery will be a great player. He is young and had an injury all this year which is why he was out of form. Dont forget how good he was coming along last year.
And like I said, Astbury and Post are young developing talls that can play either end.
Trying to find quick fixes isnt the answer. Richmond have done this to often in the past

your right about astbury was very good unfortunate with the knee. we just need to get a good run in the draft and hopefully maybe pick one of kennedy, grundy or o'meara if we can  ::). we need more depth in our side though.

yeah we should tank for the rest of the year and try pick up grundy lol... would actually be perfect for our current team, being able to develop a second young ruckman!

yeah mcguane has been decent up forwards actually, but i think we need him down back because as evidenced yesterday when petrie got on top of rance it was good to be able to switch mcguane and rance around...
