I'd be going Giles after his rest. No Brogan to ruin his score either.

No brainier for me. Giles all the way. He has proved he is capable of100's

In a choice between those 2 has to be Giles, however I think his days of pumping out tons are over for this year, Brogan or not (he hasn't been dropped yet).  Giles is looking tired and sore which is effecting his scoring.

I've got those two and have the same choice to make.
Initially thought Giles but on deeper analysis I'm going to go with Redden.

Giles...88, 104, 81, 106, 114, 56, 134, 92, 92, 81, 54, 73, 51. Last 3 scores have been poor. I recognise you can make an argument to say he's been rested so should go okay. However you can counter it with he had two games rest after the R10 and has scored 54, 73 and 51 since so the rest did him no good then.

Redden...71, 61, 69, 50, 44, 95. With the exception of last week his scores have been rubbish. Last game weighs more than old form though I'd think.

Giles is up against Fremantle in Perth minus Sandi and Z Clarke. Griffin 32 hit outs v Melbourne of all teams last week. K Bradley 3 hit outs....Can see Fremantle ripping them a new one and Griffin doing well.
Redden is up against Melbourne in Darwin minus Jamar (injured calf subbed at quarter time last week). Jamar had 7 hit outs v Fremantle of all teams and Martin had 26 hit outs...Think Port could do well against Dees and maybe Redden a big part of it against the Dees rucks without Jamar

Food for thought anyway.

Would have to agree with enzedder and choose Redden over Giles, who seems to have hit a wall. Port subbed Lobbe out in favour of Redden on the weekend, which I think is really saying something! Wait and see though, for all we know Redden may be dropped if Renouf comes back into the side. But if he's named, I think I'd prefer Redden vs Melbourne.

+1 to you and enzedder. Sound logic.

WARNING: I'm now emotionally invested in Redden since the difference in his and Cox's scores (opponent had Cox v my Redden) was basically the winning margin to me in our clutch matchup.

Maybe you and Redden should get a room!  :-*

BigBob

Redden IMO. Giles is fading like Zac Smith did last year.

I'd definitely go Giles - for the simple reason that Giles is playing and Redden is out
