Trying to pick 7th defender betwem Spurr, Ellis and Broughton

I have 5 trades left and have Broughton, Spurr and Ellis battling for the 7th Defender.

I am currently on 7th, am in good form and should win this week. He also has broughton so am considering playing him as if we both have him he can not hurt me.

What do you think?

Broughton (if named) - no point in trading him unless injured/dropped, and as you say your opponent has him so there is no risk

All good DT player will play Broughton if they have him, he is horribly out of form no question about that but there is no way u can play a Spur or Ellis or Darley in my case over him, he will never ever get into my team again but im stuck now and ill cop it!
The bloke can pull out a 120 on the odd occasion!

Yeh unfortunately i think u have to play Broughton. Has been scoring shower of late but we all know how capable he is. Dont go chasing Spurr or Ellis's scores from last week coz they are likely to go back to scoring 50's and u'd shoot yourself if u benched Broughton and he tonned up.

Broughton won't get dropped IMO, it's not that his out of form as such, just not in a very good role for him...But who knows.  :P

I reckon that anyone that high in the overall rankings would be lucky enough to have not selected Broughton.

Broughton out, Heppell in.

Didnt have a choice after he got dropped.

Those 4 trades left are looking more and more like gold, please no more injuries.
