Agree Holz Ths MRP is getting beyond a joke stage with the inconsistencies.

Ziebell should be charged as reckless the same as Merrett both instances similar and both worthy of a one match suspension. (Although personally I think neither warrants suspension as both players had eyes on the ball)

The one that really gets me now and I wait for the next time this occurs in a match to see whether there is further citings is the Rich incident with Jones.  How many times doe we see players taken into the fence without penalty and now we see a charge 3 weeks reduced to 2 for this. Fair enough push in back aided the collision but Jones played the match out and we know the niggle he puts on as a tagger.

Further Riewoldt gets no reprimand for his swinging arm because there was not force at the contact.  Correct me if I am wrong is there still the "intent" component to take into consideration.

Given up trying to work out consistency with the MRP.

poor lad, don't get a chance to see the roo's much on "7" but now the boy goes down as my worst trade for the year!

get ready for it, its a whopper of a blunder! instead of going Swan!

I traded Ablett to Jack and have not had one 100 yet! now i'm stuck with him on the bench with trades to low to do anything

roo boys!

Challenging it tonight, Merrett, Judd then JZ so we've got a while to wait.

Beyond a joke, its a farce.

Feel sorry for him & the Roos.

will be a tough ask against richmond with jz and probably petrie and adams out.

I am a Carlton supporter and was at the game. As soon as it happened I said it was a joke if he got reported. It should have been a free kick on the night and nothing more. He was clearly going for the ball. If I was North I would appeal this.

I read today they have decided not to.

It's a joke. On afl.com you can even read statements from petrie, brown, green, kelly which all surmount to the same agreement.

pyronerd

yet again the AFL administration shows off it's total incompetence to do anything right

the flying hawk

IT IS A JOKE had his eyes on the ball carlton declared him fit to play there was no intention of hurting him
