3 weeks out now unfortunately   :( but shower happens. On the bright side, Spencer was Casey's best player with 45 hitouts and the match winning goal, so he'll get a call up I reckon

Although Spencer played well on the weekend, i think i'd much prefer Jack Fitzpatrick (if he is not injured at the moment).

That would allow Martin to ruck most of the time, with Fitzpatrick playing as mainly a KPF and then pinch hitting to give Martin a rest.

Nah play martin up forward he moves better even though fitzpatrick is fast he would serve better in the middle but i agree with purple a game from spencer like that to hard to refuse :)

Can't say i agree. While Spencer has not shown very much at all at AFL level compared to VFL, Martin has shown his potential (even as a smaller ruckman) that he can take down some of the better rucks in the comp. His only problem is endurance, therefore play him in tandem with another ruck to give him a rest, Fitzpatrick is better up front than Spencer so it makes sense to play him if Melbourne choose to use the tatic i have suggested.

ahh fitzy! I forgot about him!

He has shown some good form for casey, im with you MTTY, let Fitzy show his worth again, spencer had his chance in those two games earlier.

Do you think Melbourne will (or should) drop the out-of-contract Spencer at the end of the year?

Sadly yes. We have Gawn as a developing ruck and i can see us picking up Grundy in the draft (a ready made ruck).

the flying hawk

any relation to heath grundy? :)

for some reason when I hear a name that is the same to like grundy then I asume that these two people are related :)

So now that Spencer is in the team do you think it will eat into Martin's ruck time and subsequent DT score?  ;)

Purple 77

Well, yes it will eat his ruck time, but that allows him to be a forward, which he is quite good at. SO i dont think his DT score will suffer  :D
